| wheresmymarbles63.No,live d and worked there 2 years back and learnt how disillusioned the "average" US worker was with an utterly corrupt gvt.I care because whether we like it or not the US still has a global influence,and the foreign policy for the last 12 years has been disastrous.This impacts on us all and good people die to prop up a failed policy.I also care to see an Afro-American make it to the White House,theirs has been a long and tragic journey and it represents in my mind a major change for the better.Obama has just now been elected President and hold great optimism for a better USA. |

okay now the wait to see if he gets sworn in.
Isn't it traditionally Jan 14th that the new POTUS officially takes office?
Also in GWB does leave the White House who do you think he is going to bestow the traditional presidentual pardons and amnesties. Ther have traditionally been some REAL interesting ones in the past. |
