It is against the teachings of God, and of the Holy Scripture, that other churches is built in other places, let's say in the US, or in England, or in Germany, or in Rome. They also claim that another church had also been founded in the Philippines.
The truth is, God did not give any right to anybody to build his own church. It is indeed disgusting that today, a lot of ministers build churches of their own. They deliberately oppose and defy what the Bible said - that, the Gentiles, like us, must join or make ourselves a part of the body, or the Church, for us to be saved.
And what is the reason why we must abide by it? It is because, as far as God is concerned, He did not give anybody His consent to build a church right now in our time. This is what Psalms 127:1 says-
"Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that built it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain."

Don't let worry kill you. Let the Church help.
· Thursday night-Potluck Supper. Prayer and medication to follow.
· Remember in prayer the many who are sick of our church and community.
· For those of you who have children and don't know it, we have a nursery downstairs.
· Thursday at 5PM there will be a meeting of the Little Mothers Club. All wishing to become Little Mothers, please see the minister in his private study.
· This being Easter Sunday, we will ask Mrs. Lewis to come forward and lay an egg on the altar.
· Next Sunday, a special collection will be taken to defray the cost of the new carpet. All those wishing to do something on the new carpet will come forward and get a piece of paper.
· A bean supper will be held on Tuesday evening in the church hall. Music will follow.
· At the evening service tonight, the sermon topic will be "What is Hell?" Come early and listen to our choir practice.
· The ladies of the church have cast off clothing of every kind and they may be seen in the church basement Friday.
· Weight Watchers will meet at 7 PM at the First Presbyterian Church. Please use large double door at the side entrance.
· The 1991 Spring Council Retreat will be hell May 10 and 11.
· Pastor is on vacation. Massages can be given to church secretary.
· 8 new choir robes are currently needed, due to the addition of several new members and to the deterioration of some older ones.
· The Senior Choir invites any member of the congregation who enjoys sinning to join the choir.
· Please join us as we show our support for Amy and Alan who are preparing for the girth of their first child.
and last but not least...
· Scouts are saving aluminum cans, bottles, and other items to be recycled. Proceeds will be used to cripple children. |

gather in my name, I will be there." Words of Jesus,

HUH!!?? what on earth are you on about .i guess its in reference to the Mormons in the Philippines ( probably told the Filipino's that they too are descendants of the lost tribe of Israel lol)DNA and global migration tracking has proved that neither they , nor the pacific islands ,nor the Inca's nor the myans have any connection to Jewish blood what so ever .
however the use of the term "St" in front of the name "Paul" gives the impression that the original poster on that blog is catholic in origin
and that MAN MADE organization also is NOT the church which paul was referring to . |

Fonerepair..I have a few questions to ask you.. I hope you dont mind..
Are you a Christian?
Do you attend a church?
Do you own a Bible?
Do you read it?
I ask these questions because unless you have had a personal experience with God, you really do not know what the real truth is..I dare to say and I probably get my head bitten off..Thats OK..its not the first time.. |

Anyway, my question what is this persoanl experience you talk off. Are you able to quantify it, say flesh it out for the rest odf us who don't get what you mean when you say "persoanl experience with God"

I am mindful of taking this thing off from the intended subject..and it seems that Christian threads seem to pop up under different titles and one is having to repeat itself over and over again, something I want to avoid. I have in fact shared my testomony in a thread started by Pigpot, where alot of fiery debates etc took place.. But something good came out of that..Christians bagged, Proof that God exists, Creation,Evolution,Matrix ..There were a number christian threads..
So I will keep it simple... MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE(and it is different for everybody) was when during my lowest moments, when murder or suicide was my next mission, and I had no one to turn to and even though I knew that this thing I was about to embark on was wrong, I screamed out for help from this invisible God, who I didn't really know. But something happened that cannot be put into words except that an empowering came from within and a devine intervention took place with an invisible person called Jesus and He turned my whole world inside out, and over night, that from the age of 19 years old until today I am a living testomony of the Love, Mercy and Grace of God...No man, or minister, or Bishop, or church brainwashed me.. I started to read this bible that was sitting on my mothers shelf for years..
I discovered that this bible was spewing out stuff that began to make sense.. revelation after revelation was opened out to me... So unless we the people are hungry or thirsty for what is in this book...it will just become another book sitting on the shelf collecting dust..Have you ever wondered why nearly every house has a bible of some sort somewher in their home?.. |

Gam:
Well, something like 2/3 of the world's population lives in China, and I'm pretty sure that not many of them have Bibles. So much for "nearly every house". That leaves one third of the world's houses to split up with the hindus, the jews, the muslims and everybody else.
You PROBABLY meant that "nearly every house" in Christian countries has a Bible, which is not terribly surprising (that's why they're called "Christian countries").
But lots of houses have other types of books as well,
encyclopaedias, dictionaries, phonebooks... nearly every house has one or more of these items. And they are often consulted about as frequently as the household Bible. |

what is an off the wall interesting trend is that it is now estimated that there are more Christians in china then there are members of the communist party ,which lists 70million. however the full number of Christians in china can never be fully counted nor verified due to the huge unregistered house church movement of the last 30 odd years and also the fact that people will not put there name on paper as being "christian " due to the fact if you hold an unregistered "meeting" or "gathering " in china you could find yourself raided beaten and thrown in prison without trial.
The American Bible Society at the end of August launched a special fund raising project to help provide paper to produce Bibles for distribution throughout China during 2005 through Amity Press, the officially recognized Christian printing press of the registered church. The Society said that the lack of paper holds us back from attempting to meet demand . |

2/3rds of the world doesn't live in China, it's about 1/5
The number of Christians may exceed the number of members of the Communist party. However let me tell you it's a dam sight easier in China to become a Christian than a party member.
I have lived here for 14 years and never heard of Christians being dragged off or beaten and I know many Christians here.
That may happen to some people, but i am fairly sure that it's not because they are Christian and there is more to the story.
The CCP couldn't give a toss about Christians in general. They have had a bit of a bad experience in the past with missionaries, but since most of the old guard went to a Christian school, they are fairly ambivalent about it. |

Yes, but.....If God loves the sinner why does he want to kill him? when he supposedly has the power to prevent him from becoming a sinner in the first place as he was being created?
Maybe the earth is a skip where all the rejects of the people manufacturing process are dumped, and (as in say, garden waste,) you get a few flowers and trees starting to grow again which are worth saving? - Christians?
Perhaps I'm dreaming!! :-). |

| churches are congreation of people, like politics, rich .and gangs, people go o church looking for answer of where they have gone wrong in life,.if they back track in their own lives and childhood they will fine the answer there,there culture leds them to certain churches, to where there family tree is or there forefathersand mothers words of the past are,,they pray to god.and ask god where they have gone wrong, but the answer they are looking for lands on some one else,and it maynot be in the church they attend,the right anwers first are in their own family brother sister, uncle and aunts..the law was brought in as the blaming and accusing othes in churches, spiritially so people who knew the truth had rights . no church like parliament are above the law,the law is the most powerful word of any scripture.if its applied properly.and the law and christainity, is the values we were taught as children.we had to live by them not just say them, if we want to get it right, |

.these are the mistakes that generated over centries of time, that weren,t properly understood. by some in families,. the bible states, back in time, that dishonest ones were eliminated from the family.. sent out to mend there ways, but over generation, it became the honest ones got eleiminated from the familys as the conspirciers knew how to control their parents,to get there own way,this is why values were brought in,and the law. to stop others from misjudging others with words,daughters always stayed below the father, and sons the mother, then when they married,the son goes to the wifes side of the family,
more and more over centries the conspiracier got control. those who knew it felt good to blame some one else for their mistakes,and this stems from childhood when parents believe the conspiracier against listning to the other side, then parent developed favourtism, to one child, and made the other feel left out and not wanted,.so the one who was honest and more wiser went out to find, others who knew,and was interested in more of our human survival,if daughter don,t stay under their father,. the father puts part of the mothers life on the daughter and the mother puts part of the father life on the son,which comes in on them, from past present ,this prevents heart attacks and
stroke in the parents,now wehave got to the stage where ever one speaking for ever one else, and getting it all wrong, of what they think some one said or did,we were taught to talk as babies so we could speak for ourselves, when asked a question, if, we lie, or mislead, some one, them that mistake will stay with us untill the truth is
told,depending on where its to our parents of the system,and as the bible states, our lies will cling to us like a belt around our wast,these mistakes in later years if not understood or corrected causes ill health heart attacks and then death.,god didn,t create us to get old and die, he created us to help him with his plan for all human survival. |
