Humans cannot travel beyond the van allen belts, the radiation kills our cells.
That's why no human ever landed on the Moon...also why the space-station has never been used to build an inter-planetary space vehicle.
Also why all the complex organisms ( simians, canines etc.) came back to Earth completely fried.
We are Earthbound. |

I think in todays world we might have to readjust our previous thinking. Branson and Google sounded as though it was all on. Maybe we only think these things like it not being possible because that is what is what we have been taught. |

NASA spends billions on this stuff...bloody great rockets, shuttles, funny lookin "space" stations...to try and keep up this show of sort of trying to get to the moon or...or..Mars or some place or other. It's a great show that is all due to end in 2012 when Jeezus an the Aliens arrive. I think. |

| actually apart from Richard Branson and Google bosses saying they are going to set up the colony on Mars in 2014, (which has actually been reprted today) It is being said that President Obama is expected to announce that there are extraterrestrials and they are here and some are like us. This has been reported as hopefully being announced before xmas. What would you all think if that comes to be true, Personally I think it would be the most exciting event that could possibly happen to the planet. |

1. Cannot get to Mars by 2014.
2. If Branson is involved you know it is a PR stunt
3. The Van Allen belt does prevent travel according to some sources
4. They haven't even figured out how to survive the travel time needed to get to Mars let alone work and construct any dwellings once there.
Nice story....all BS...next fiction please....
