The Intention of fundamentalists be they of the Christian variety or islamic variety is to cause confusion and lead people away from the truth and at the same time of course create their own little powerbase and make lots of money while satisfying their need to hate and have an enemy. And i must say they have been allowed to do a pretty good job.
