I would call him an obnoxious, arrogant centrist/statist, if anything. -

Hey man Don't knock Bill, he is probibly the most honest talk back host thier is. Certianly better than what we have here in NZ, Sainsbery and that guy on 3.

Bill O'Reilly for Mayor of Auckland.

Re:Republican Party of USA Reply to this message
Fox News is consistently the highest rated cable news show for a number of reasons, not the least being they actually have anchors who make a stand on issues. Some are notoriously conservative, others clearly come from a religious stance. They have a strong following across all political spectrums.
All media are biased to some extent.
The smarter of the public can sift through and from a variety of sources gain a feel for events.
Open minds are needed.
I see little of that here from all posters.

I repeat here again gnome...

""..You constantly say 'bill oreilly'...first he is but one of dozens many listen to gnome...second by his own admission he is a libertarian and if you knew anything of him, you'd know he (a) constantly blasted bush and had zero time for him (b) was a great supporter of hillary clinton and her bid (c) never regarded mccain as a serious threat to obama in the election (d) runs the most successful cable show for the last 5 years with viewers across the political spectrum...

...the political scientist Michael Barkun has written about conspiracy theorists gnome....and how they have become embraced in popular culture...furthermore 'new world order' initially discussed after WW2 was actually how collectively the world could bring order, rather than state by state....no conspiracy...just common sense...

...morons like jones and yourself extrapolate this to stretch to anything you dont understand or that has a slightly closed membership...

...you lack the intellect for these debates midget...""

Re:Republican Party of USA Reply to this message
It would appear the GOP (republicans) had some significant wins last night. Relatively minor elections really, except for the govenorship of New Jersey, which I understand, is the first time it has ever been won by a Republican, bodes well for the mid term elections next year.

Re:Republican Party of USA Reply to this message
Obama's test will come in the mid terms next year which will decide the Senators and the Governorships. Be interesting to see how many the Republicans pick up/Democrats lose - I personally would vote independent all the way.
