| The 911 insult-fest reminds me of a line from the old Simon and Garfunkle song "the boxer" which says "after changes upon changes we are more or less the same". This 911 farce no longer has anything whatsoever to do with the events of 911, it has degenerated to repititious kindergarden type insults and counter insults, none of which are listened to, none of which score any points, no matter how carefully worded they are or how much malicious venom is stirred into them, and none of them actually go anywhere except around and around like the carnival ride that they are. Children love those rides, but, with respect, surely there should come a time when children grow up and become adults who might be worth listening to. Even though I am an avowed atheist, yet even I can see the sense of the bible text "When I became a man I put away childish things." When is that time going to come for you, gentlemen? This year, next year, sometime, never???? |

| lordrothschild, I am suggesting that if either side really has any facts that might be truly worth consideration, they might make some progress if they dropped all the pettiness of insults and concentrated on presenting their side of the subject without the unnecessary rancour, because without some progress, both sides will remain at the starting line and all the myriad posts will have been wasted.Someone, somewhere should decide to leave the childishness to the other side, ignore it and get on with stating their case.I am suggesting that when two sides put all their argument into swearing and insults, then maybe they are both wrong. |

I freely admit that I thoroughly enjoyed throwing "s h it" at Ace during the last two days on the Swine flu thread. In the 4 plus years I have been on this board I have rarely responded to obnoxious posters, but after a time Ace just begs a response. Childish? Definitely, but at my age i'm entitled to regress just once in while. Still, the novelty wears off fairly quickly. |

That article is absolutely riddled with errors and outright lies. For instance they say the impact hole in the pentagon was 75 feet wide! Anyone who has seen photos of the wall (prior to collapse) can clearly see the missile impact hole is only 15 feet in diameter. |

Well that was "tried on" and it doesn't fit.
like a 757 through a 15ft hole in a wall, doesn't matter what angle you are looking at it from, it just doesn't fit at all.

Proponents of the no-757-impact theories have argued that photographic evidence, being physical evidence, is more objective than eyewitness evidence and therefore outweighs it. The fundamental problem with applying this reasoning to the Pentagon crash is that it ignores the inferences required to conclude that no 757 hit the Pentagon based on the photographs. The eyewitness evidence is direct, with many witnesses claiming to have seen a twin-engine jetliner fly into the Pentagon and explode. Scores of other witnesses corroborate that account. In contrast, there is no credible photographic evidence showing the Pentagon being hit by something other than a jetliner -- only photographs of building damage and surroundings that many believe is inconsistent with the crash of a 757 based on a series of inferences.
