Nice theory, but like marxism (watch for JJ posting now) it will never work in practice. The few differences that do exist, sometimes subtle, between societies are major show stoppers for others, and will manifest themselves in war.
The differences make life interesting. If we were all the same, life would be really boring. You would never have debate on these MBs for starters. |

Serenstar68 firstly I beleive it is a great concept and theory, but that is all it will ever be. in reality the small differences are so important to some and they are so passionate about them, they will kill to defend their beliefs. That will never stop. We all have that in us.
While I believe that it would be great if all people were peaceful, it will never happen. Even if one dominant society destroyed all other societies, rifts will develop in that society and cause clashes. |

| I do not believe you are right hulk hogan as for the survival of the human race we have to learn to live with the differences.....only a small proportion of humans would ever turn to violence unfortunately it is that small proportion that has usurped control of our destiny. There is only one thing that needs to happen to initiate a dramatic change of course and that is for the majority to become vocal and unified |

Treblatine I really disagree with your rose tinted view of the issues at hand. Life is not "a bunch of fluffy ducks" and won't be for a few million years I am afraid. The minority you refer to is a lot larger than you think, possibly even the majority.Just look at the countries with the largest population densities, and the lack of tollerance in those countries is there for all to see.
The problem with your theory is that it will never be more than a theory...
My daughter has just flown in from Auckland for Christmas,and is somewhere between the airport & home, so I have more important things to attend to. |

holland has a pretty high population density and they are tollerant. but holland is an affluent society and people have time to pursue the higher things in life. knowledge etc.
marx correctly points out that that mankind must first of all eat, drink, have shelter and clothing, before it can pursue politics, science, art, religion, etc. (engles) |

A lot of the bad in life is brought on us by our treatment of others....violence begets violence.....dyslexics are made to feel inferior by our education system and end up highly represented in the prison population...if you treat a dog badly it will become violent ....so do humanS!!!!!
Violent movies condition us to behave in a certain way....think violence and you will be violent think peace and you will have peace .....we are what we think but unfortunately we are encouraged to think of violent solutions,Hogan open your eyes there are billions of people on this planet if the majority wanted conflict there would be total chaos but there is not
The path we are currently on leads nowhere ...yes ppl can be programmed for violence but they can also be programmed for peace. We are all being brainwashed into a us/ them condition that has no need to exist.
For every soldier there is a man of peace, the greedy are far outnumbered by those giving there time freely to help others ...
Hogan who achieves more in life the poor person who makes everyone around him happy or someone of great wealth who has abused the planet and others to achieve this goal...destroyed families and poisoned the earth
Our current conditioning programmes us to see success in a way that is leading to disaster |

| I believe that the world is full of people waiting to be pointed in the right direction,but the current powers that be prefer things the way they have been,i am sure we are all aware of the term "DIVIDE and CONQUER". We may be a race of many colors,cultures,creeds but thats exactly what makes us beautiful and interesting, the fact is we are united under the umbrella of humanity. Let not a man glory in this "that he loves his country" let him rather glory in this "that he loves his kind". Wonder why this simple example and its ilk are not a big part of our worldwide education systems ? |
