| Yeah yeah you don't have to tell me, I know how good these Indian cricketers are. There's no pressure on the Black Caps to win. It's all on the Indian squad. With the amount of talent they have, this Indian side should take this test series easily. For the moment I'm simply enjoying the two well deserved centuries from Daniel Vittori & Jessie Ryder. peace |

| Try 220/230 instead of 150, I'm telling you now, these indian boys are in such good nick, the top four indian batsmen might have to retire hurt just for nz to have a chance at salvaging a draw at least, they'll squeak past that meagre total by tomorrows afternoon session |

I cannot see why anyone is surprised we are struggling.
Based purely on quality we were always going to find it tough against this extremely talented side.
As we would against Australia and SA.
How do Scotland and Wales go against the All Blacks? That's the Black Caps folks.
Enjoy the few victories, but lower the expectations you have of NZ cricket. We will never be a top 3 Test side - never have been. |

| In response to the earlier comment about how our young cricketeers were dominated earlier and calling it irrelevant we can see a huge turn around on the test with Guptil going out for a measly 14 runs as you can see it is great that two young cricketeers have stepped up on the one dayer but like an earlier comment they have yet to prove they deserve the appraise they are recieving. |

I don't agree on McIntosh.
He is not Mark Richardson who had basically two scoring shots. McIntosh was not unusually slow scoring in tests and I believe ODI's would actually help him 'free' up a little. Guptill at # in tests plays with more reserve than 3 in ODI's.
We lack the all over talent pool to leave a player like McIntosh out in my opinion. POlus he gets the opportunity to see the test bowlers - something he will not get in current tours that feature no unofficial games against provinces or composite teams. |

| He was the captain of the U19s and plays for N.D. He's a really promising middle order batsmen who has had a good season for N.D. He recently played for N.Z a's. He bowls quickish off spinners and has just taken a 5for. He's 18 and performed well against some good bowlers in the England A side |

Oh well that's good news on Southee. I thought Oram bounced back well with the ball in the last ODI. Form is a funny thing, but im sure given time Oram will come good with both bat and ball.
I have to be honest, I don't know anything about Kane Williamson. Who does he play for and what's his craft? |

| Southee needed to find form, which he seems to of done ok in the match against canterbury. Not sold on whether or not Broom ready for test matches, would like to see Kane Williamson given a shot. McIntosh definately just a test player for mine, technically very solid but not on the same level as our current ODI top order as far as flair and attacking ability goes. Oram needs contribute with the bat as well, he still a good bowler in a limited overs scenario. |
