| Bond will never play for NZ against India, the BCCI will demand the withdrawal of him in the NZ team because of this ties to the IPL. WeE have to make do with the bowlers we have, and unfortunately they don't have a clue at the moment. Too full, too short, down leg side, they are all over the place. It's unfair to leave everything up to Vettori to try and stem the run flow. The Indians can still afford to take five runs an over off him knowing they can get 20 off the other end. I think we started believing the hype after the Australian series and the 2020s. |

| By the way, I heard about Shane Bond s problem with IPL wish he was back, he was by far the best fast bowler I ve seen from the black caps, they really need some one like him to step up too bad the selectors dont seem to want to pick him for some stupid reason |

They d be lucky to get 1 ODI win guess they ll have to say atleast we won the 20/20 match which the Indian team did not even use their top 2 batters in. No excuses NZ just are below average in comparison to India and I dont even support Indian team |

Good sh1t di thats the spirit. Our bowlers seem to be lacking that killer instinct. To beat these Indians we're going to need a complete team performance. Im sure they all know it they just aint doing it.
Some may say you can only play as good as your opposition allow ya, but hey!
(maybe someone should tell our boys that two can play that game.) |

| When we win the next 2 one dayers, which we will, (money where my mouth is too) it will be a huge upset. Those Indian top order players are all in the form that made them household names. They are phenominally brilliant. Like D.I said, a couple of runouts and bad decision turned the game. There is not an attack in the world that would not of been hit for 392 in chch by the indians. Based on there bowling effort they may of gone for more if they were bowling to there top order. 330 odd in 45 overs, to get that close was a great effort and has shown me why the blackcaps deserve all the support they have and can get. |

Anyway, the weather gods want a good seeing to. Blimmin' rain spoiling the blimmin' Cricket all flippin' Summer.(!)
It's a beautiful warm sunny day in CHCH today. (It was nice yesterday too.) At this stage, it's *supposed* to be nice tomorrow, but there is a late Southerly Change with Showers in the Forecast for tomorrow.
I've got a ticket for tomorrow's Match, and I don't know about everyone else here, but I just want to see a decent game of Cricket, without the need for any of Messer's Duckworth and Lewis' "help".
