IMO the best fast bowler in cricket today would be Shane Bond, since Mcgrath has retired and Shoaib Akhtar has lost his ability to perform as well as he used to.

This is quite strange India went out really quickly but still they some how managed to get near 400 if it was the black caps we would have gone for just 200 shows the difference in batting abilities. Even though I personally support the Black caps as a neutral spectator I was apalled by the statement that Mccullum was compared to the little Master, we have no one in comparison to Tendulkar unless we had some one like Brian Lara and as we all know we don't. Mccullum has lots of ability but I don't think he will reach those same heights. On the other hand Shane Bond was one of the best ballers I ve seen it's too bad this IPL issue keeps him out of the squad especially when the bowling seems to be doing no favours for the Black caps.

I reckon Zaheer Khan is a better bowler than Vass.
Although probably not when Vass was in his prime |

The difference being Wasim Akram was a huge swinger of the ball and bowled with a bit more guile

Yes I think Guptills dismissal was due to lack of concentration. I think Khan is more like a Chaminda Vass maybe

Yeah possibly, But I think McCullum has been doing a good job down the order. Also if it takes NZ 1 & 3/4 days to score say around 480 - 540runs that would be fine. Although scattered showers are forecast for Tuesday. It aint going to be easy though

Did you see how Guptill got out????Its shear lack of concentration. He should have been playing that delivery on the front foot and not let the eye of the changeing speed of that delivery.zaheer khan is a master of changeing speed of every ball in an over just like wasim akram

Actually I agree that batsmen should play their natural game, But that's nothing new.
I don't think that has been the case with the dismissals today though |

If you get in a densive mode then a target of 379 looks like 679 and when I say NZ should play their natural game,I ment they should not change their game plan under pressure

see this is wwhat i ment.NZ should play their natural game that means a stroke player should not get over defensive and shold show agression other wise the Indian bowlers will bring extra pressure on every batsman

I think taking 9 India wickets in 1 day is great, but the Indians probably scored their runs to quickly, especially when we won the toss and put them into bat. We should definitely get a result in this game and I hope the Black Caps can do the unthinkable and win this third & final test match, to level the series.
