| It was a mistake to ask India to bat first Because India is batsman dominated team and who are on a high after winning the first match and pulling the second out of the jaws of defeat.Only two batsman have fallen but India still can score 600+ on this beautyful batting track.Will NZ be able to chase in this match Unh....Unh tha's remain to be seen |

| Yep i think vettori has got it wrong aswell, Patel should be in.I think we bowled first to try and get the Indians out twice but yet again our bowling has been ordinary!!!!Yes msingh sehwag is on fire we need to get him out quick.IMO i would rather have franklin in the side over southee, franklin is a better batsman byfar. I think we are in need of Tuffey and Bond! SOS! |

Yeah he can take the match away from the opposition so quickly, His 50s to 100s conversion rate is amazing aswell.
Selectors got it wrong again not including Patel in the 11.
Vittori got it wrong, winning the toss and bowling |

Good move bringing in the young Tim Southee.
But Patel should be in the 11, and Franklin 12th man.
I thought it was a no brainer.
Losing Franklin for Tim Southee = Better bowler and just as good a batter I think
So your not losing anything that way |

| I'm thinking this will be one of the last times we will see Dravid/Tendulkar/Laxman at 3/4/5 ever, so I'm betting on these three to score heavily on what seems a fairly good batting surface. Best chance is for NZ to bat first and score a big total (to give their bowlers a chance to recover from the last test), and then hope that the pitch deteriorates faster than the Napier one. |

| Best of luck to the kiwis,they sure are going to need it,our bowling attack is the biggest worry me thinks,one reliable medium-fast(martin) the others only blechh !!! our spin bowlers have not been that good as of late,when last have Vittori taken a bag of wickets,its a worry my friends,however,maybe the Indians will self distruct as they did in the first innings of the second test.Here is hoping. |
