Hey Palladin. bond is brilliant with a new ball even tho he is coming to the end of his carrer and lost a little speed i think he would be in the top 3 bowlers in nz without question. Who is this kid you are talking about that does 145Km/hr, does he have a name??
If bond was released from his contract i am sure that the NZ selectors would be knocking on his doors in no time. If you havent noticed our bowlers are a little flat at the moment and need a experienced strike bowler. |

| While everyone is talking about facts, lets not forget the fact that Mr Bond had already indicated that the last test he played would be his last test. He was, and will be, only available for ODI's and 20/20 - empty calorie cricket doesn't satisfy me gentlemen. So, whether he is playing ODI or 20/20 holds little interest. |

Everyone would not pick Bond - the guy is well over 30 - I doubt he could get through a test match without breaking down or getting a sore wee toe, let alone a 3 test series.
Instead of looking backwards, look forward - apparently we have a left arm who bowls at 145K and is 19 - hell....pick this kid and let him rip - alone with martin, Southee and Obrien it is a start.

1. Bond made his debut in 2001 - that is 8 years ago.
2. He has played a total of 17 tests.....17 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The guy is a loser.

Vittori's only 10wickets away from taking 300-test wickets.
Not many can say they've taken 300
Vittori would take more wickets if the batters did their job well, ie 450-550runs.
He should bowl him self more |
