| I would say that being the favourites (India) who won the last one and couldnt even make the semis let alone win a game in the super 8s would have to be the biggest chokers at this years 20/20,no question. |

| If you look at NZ Cricket and its base of players versus some of the other successful cricket nations such as Australia;Sri Lanka;India;Pakistan;Engl and;Sth Africa etc we don't do too badly.Our pitches and infrastructures for creating successful and dedicated players is rather substandard and not assisted by unpredictable weather..Even our summers now are being plundered by Rugby requirements in the professional era.And we continue to survive.Perhaps we should take our hats off to these blokes rather than openly abuse their efforts.Accepting that our Test team will never be the greatest;accepting that our One day team will be competitive and accepting that our 20/20 side can beat any other side,on the right day,is a far better approach.Happily the game will survive here in NZ.A few negative comments will surely not ruffle the feathers of those who understand the situation. |

| oh dont worry i have been doing that. nothing ever seems to happen though... i reported alot of other people having a go at him.. cuz they are just as bad.. not that it will change anything. people on here cant help themselves.. because they're not face to face with the person they act all tough blah blah blah.. gets old very quickly. |

| Whilst they gave their best,the spin finally baffled them.NZ has never had batsmen who could play spin bowling with any authority.In the modern Era that is.You have to go back aways.To the great John Reid and Bert Sutcliffe.Although Martin Crowe could hold his own he never really dominated them.I believe 20/20 will become the Worlds' great Entertaining games and spread Globally.In a few years you'll see it being played in the USA,Russia,South America.It will probably be reduced still further to a 15/15 format.Unfortunately Test cricket will gradually fade away.Now our team has a chance to redeem itself with a tour to Sri Lanka coming up.Hopefully we will see it live ???Let's congratulate the Black Caps for their efforts.After all they progressed further than the Australians. |
