| i am afraid he is slowinmg down,but he can be good however I have seen better batting from vettori,and now even patel!!! if we can find a player performing in our national league choose them asap..expose them to int cric.. our hadlees and turners are likely to hiding somewhere. |

What of the players coming up through the ranks?
NZ cricket takes the attitude of giving players 3 - 4 yrs to build some experience. Meanwhile, there are some great players languishing on the domestic scene Playing for your country should be based on form, not just lots of experience at playing badly! |

| Oram, given caught when it was clearly not. Where is the refferal system?? He was batting well too. Just getting in...If you want to diss Oram, at least come up with a better all rounder to take his place. Elliot? Diamanti? C'mon! He is an awesome player and you should show some respect. You guys keep saying he hasn't performed for two years, but how many games have we played n that time. You only have to mess up a handful of games as a kiwi to be labeled a loser. Although he is not at the top of his game, Oram is one of the best all rounders out there. You might as well ask why McCullum is in the team..or Flynn, or O'brien!! Oram is a big asset. Thats why the selectors will keep him until he retires. |
