| there is absolutely no risk in trying some up-and-coming talent in the position currently occupied by oram. if they fail we have lost nothing since oram contributes very little. but don't blame the guy, blame the selectors. they are responsible. |

| Well I don't know it for a fact, but New Zealand doesn't have a wealth of players to choose from. Not many if any player stats jump out and say select me please, my track record will justify my selection....... |

| there are a number of guys doing well in domestic cricket for nz but dnt seem to be getting a good run because of guys like oram...matthew bell,sinclair,franklin... the list goes on...oh and btw oram hasnt set the world on fire for nearly 2 years now...although i hardly remember hims setting the world on fire in the first place. |

ok so I will enlighten you, so Oram isn't setting the world on fire at the moment - that's for sure
but who do you replace him with ? and why ?
because since his return from injury, there has been several players not performing and going by your logic we'll have to replace half the team
with lesser players
ie - less skill less experience & less talent.......... |

Styris is gone - no contract.
Oram is there and now joined by equally ridiculous picks - Tuffy & Bond.
We really do have selectors with limited IQ - but then having Nash there is the biggest joke - guy was an average at best player - now simply overweight and overrated.
NZ cricket will never be successful until we dump the ex average players getting into administration - even the coach is a pom who was a journeyman ex county player who wouldnt know the pressure of internationals - Wright should have been paid $400,000 to be sole coach. |

| Totally agree Oram should not be in team, Iv`e seen him yawning several times caught on camera, and he always looks to me as if he has just got up and hasen`t yet had a shower,looks like he is going to fall over at the end of his AMBLE up to bowl, batting !!!! he`s lost it. |

| Big Jake, yeah right big blouse more like it. Cant bowl more than 30 mph as it hurts his back. Funny how he can turn it on when theres a sniff of moolah in the IPL..get rid of him and Styris while your at it. They are taking the place of young players who are prepared to bend their backs |
