Okay, Bracewell might be mud. But can anyone tell me why we suck at this game?
At least in the past we'd bore everyone stupid fighting for draws. Now we can't even last four days!
I blame television.
McCullum batting at three, yet another reason for Bracewell to get the ar$e. If his back is too sore to keep, he shouldn't play at all. Good old Dan, poms at 70 odd for five so he gets defensive and they score another 250. Why cant the Kiwis play swing, it's not uncommon to NZ conditions so has to come down to technique.
Reading cricinfo site and note that swing is king at Trent Bridge. Southee HAS to play..... Good toss to win, put Poms in to bat and let the bowlers do the rest. Average 1st innings totals batting first is only 197!!!
