| Mike could have been so much more with the right people around him. There is no doubting the raw power of the man he was but what ensued was what typifies the likes of peopel like Don King. We're seeing a sh!t version of that now with Cameron and his people. |

In his prime he was damn near undefeatable. No boxer from an earlier era could withstand the punishment he dealt in his early days.....even the likes of Foreman in his day was not as devastating as Iron Mike, as much as I liked Evander Holyfield he wouldn't have lasted 5 minutes in Tyson's prime, as for Lennox......Lennox....WHO ? EXACTLY!!.

Funny you brought this thread up gvt. I was just talking to a mate of mine the other day about whether he thought we would see another Mike Tyson in our lifetimes, or at least a boxer who truly dominates and unifies the division, answer!!!Probably not!!! |
