HI there
I totally understand your statement but the truth is...
They carried the flag in Beijing and Dave Currie who was the boss of that team...is also on the board for the halbergs and will make sure the girls win. Considering there are only 10 at the most that entered there event...is t really a team event...when probably more people play LEAGUE around the world!!!!
What will happen is the League team will probably get a fairplay ward or something pathetic as that.
One team one spirit...well I hear the Olympic team had a drinking problem too...what about the swimmers...what about the drinking that carried on over in beijing and atheltes breaking stuff..
GO LEAGUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| These girls have put in years of training in there sport,no sub s or replacements.As for the league team how many injurys had we before our final squad was completed.The girls came back after be down in poland at another champs.There a team. |

They both deserve awards, but head-to-head what the girls achieved on a world stage outranks the league victory, which after all was achieved in a competition whose finalists were pretty much known before the first game.
Now to really cause a stir...I'd rate Scott Dixon ahead of both of them! |

great achievement,yes,a Gold Medal & by the way they went about winning it,the circumstances,by the slightest of margins & as dramatic as it was etc etc
