PLEASE. Praytell who were the (4)world champions Tua fought, it's just my uninformed opinion he didn't fight 4 world champions. Maybe Willie Jackson is like most of the Cameron knockers they have to exaggerate and over hype a has-been. GO CAMO!!! |

M4 - A tactical fight is exactloy what you're gonna see Cameron try to employ though. He's not stupid, neither it Ken Reinsfield or Lollo - they know Shane cant trade with David so they'll try to get him to box.
But IMO Cameron doesn't have the natural boxing skill to keep David off him for long, and as we saw in the Ahunanya fight when Shane gets tagged he goes back to what he knows - going forward and throwing as hard as he can. |

Shanmaats - Why didn't Tua take the fight 4 years ago? Well lots of reasons, some have been stated in the media -court case etc... - and I believe some reasons will be Tua's own, and not for the general public to know.
But one reason stands out to me above all others. $.
4 years ago Shane didn't have a world ranking, wasn't well known even in Australia, and wouldn't have warranted a $500k purse for either fighter.
It was a good business move by Tua to wait for Shane to build his profile and get a name.
And about Shanes career post Tua, I've heard from some good sources that he plans on fighting abroad - probably Englad or somewhere else in Europe.
It'll be a good fight while it lasts, Camerons not the type to dance around and try to box Tua even if thats the gameplan his corner tries to put in place.
Might not last long but there'll be some fireworks. |

Even if Shane does get knocked out. Its not guna end his career. hes got more years left in him than Tua.
This fight is so important to Tua because his career will be damaged if da big tough tua man is knocked out from the gisborne farmer. Go the moutain warrior! It,s gonna be a mean fight anyway, they can both give the punches and take them 2 |

| Yeah, maybe shane might get knocked out but he hasn't been the one denying all the attempts to have this fight. If the real reason why tuas delayed this is because shane aint a big enough challenge then why hasnt tua already accepted and knocked him out ages ago.. It wud hav been easier when shane first challenged tua 4 years ago |

Dont stress Tux, If they get the Meehan - Hoppa fight signed you'll get over there on PPV, so should be able to head down to your local and catch it.
Not only an old overweight Aussie either, Davis, who isn;t known as a heavy puncher, rocked him a couple of times as well - a better fighter may have followed up and finished it. |

| not just up and down the country man, im in gold coast an really worried we wont get to see fight. cant believe people ranking shane anywhere near david, i havent seen all of tuas fights but cant really recall anyone really hurting him, cant say the same for shane when a overweight ,aged aussie gives him trouble |

Rustys29 - You say it's a joke, but obviously know nothing about boxing. This is shaping up to be one of (if not the) biggest boxing event held in the country.
So who cares? Thousands of trainers and athletes up and down the country, thats who. Hundreds of thousands of people that have followed Tuas and Camerons careers, thats who.

Humm Shane Cameron knocked out....might be good. I watched on the news how Cameron was trying to wind David up....it looked more fake than anything else or he couldn't act in front of the camera's.
The good thing about David he was calm and humble...I hope he win's then old Shane Cameron can just stay Gisborne farming..... |

You're right Barbar, Cameorn never should have gotten anywhere near signing that contract.
Tua could have headed off overseas for one last tilt at glory, and the Cameron circus could've kept rolling round NZ keeping the sport in the headlines.... |
