Kaneio - I really hope he has learnt, otherwise it'll be a real short fight lol
While I agree that his hand speed has droppedsince the Lewis fight, his last couple against Fox and Montana it was getting better all the time. I don't know that he'll be able to pick up where he left off but if Shane stands there to be hit it won't matter all that much - Tua turns and gets his body behind his shots really well. |

| Who has cameron fought??????????????? the top 10 are way better fighters than him and tua knows what it is to get hit and does not get knocked out by the top contenders ive never seen tua beaten miserably during his prime compare to cameron losing to ahunanya during his prime thats just useless. by the way cameron is nowhere near lennox lewis not even close, so stop dreaming about cameron fighting like lewis cos he aint. |

Let's just hope that Cameron has learnt his lessons from the Friday an Smith fights.
I am comparing his punch speed with when he was younger. Since the Tua-Lewis fight, Tua hasn't been the same. A shame really. |

Kaneio - you're right, thats exactly what Cameron needs to do - jab jab jab for 12 rounds. Take a leaf out of Lennox Lewis' book.
Just don't think he'll do it myself, and you have to admit that trading shots with Tua, like he did in the Ahunanya and Smith fights, isn't a good idea. |

Yeah I know what you mean Putz, I'm picking Tua inside 4 for the same reasons, but having said that the chance remains that Cameron does change his style and we see a totally different fighter, if he can do that then I think he'll be on the road to having the skills to make some noise in the division. The amount of change required is massive though, he needs to do just about the opposite of everything he does in the ring now to win, i.e. fight off the back foot, never go forward, jabs and straight rights only cause hooks will allow Tua to close the distance, move his head when Tua throws a punch.
It's a bloody big ask. |

Jab jab jab for 12 rounds for cameron. Easy win.
Tua will try to hit cameron with a hail mary once every 3 rounds. All Cameron has to do is step back and he will because Tua takes forever to throw a punch he is that slow. |

| just on that point too Darky the opinons really are base don our take of what we've seen and whathas been and comparisons teh rest really is upt to the actual fights taking place for some of us to say okay I got it right or wow I didn;t see that ne coming. FYI I do beleive I am placing my call on a safer side in TUA so despite all of the trashtalk it has been based on my own assesment of what I ahve seen of Shane and what I know of TUA. Putz - agreed on most of that mate, only thing about the Mirovic fight that showed anything to me was the broken hand thing, just the fact that he kept throwing it hard afterwards said he was determined at least.
If he gets past Tua he needs to find someone in the top 10 stateside he can beat then do it. That would almost line him up a title shot I reckon, or an eliminator at least. And Tua is one big if to deal with first.
Can't see him getting past the Klit bros though, the only belt I could even begin to see him taking at the moment is Valuevs, and I only say that because of the dismal performance the big man put in against Holyfield, he's there for the taking by a smaller, fitter, faster guy who can set a good pace for 12 rounds. Addidtionally Valuev isn't exactly a heavy hitter, and is glacially slow.
What do you guys think? June winner takes a US eliminator then topples the russian freak. While I'm dreaming I might as well throw in a NZ rematch title defense for good measure lol |

I know you're a keen supporter of Shane but (and it's just my opinon) Shane has never really been tested and there's no way of ascertaining his durabilty unless he contest with a top 10 fighter to be considered a genuine contender. All we have as reference is Ahunnaya who was ranked 67 places beneath Sahen at the time thathe lost and anotehr acid test coming up in June against David and for me perosnally beating bob mirovoc in the way that he did was nowhere near what a boxer of Shane's supposed abilty should have done. Even Hopoate stopped Mirovic quicker.
IMHO Tua poses a greater threat (if he was fit) than Cameron because Shane has shown that his chin is not durable bleeding eyes aside. To be fair we will know much more about these guys once the JUNE fight plays out. |
