| gayjosh, get your facts right jackoff, Tua is still feared by many of the top heavyweights and also targetted by some because he still is the man to avoid or take on. You're dreaming if you don't think heavyweights are worried that Tua displayed his power again on Sat. Man, yr such a hater, just face the facts. Reinsfeld thought his boy could do it, he failed and the show goes on. Tua hasn't fought for a while because he had to fight in court, someone who swore he was his brother like no other ( Kevin Bulldust Barry and Martin Con Man Pugh) So, Tua has a long road ahead and it will be you that will wait by the screen again to see David get beaten. What a bloody joke, and as Talitonu said, " if shane beat Tua there wd've been a national holiday. lol Tua much for Shame Cameron. But as David Tua said, "Cameron's a good fighter and he'll be back". He also offered to help him get back up there. So, what do you losers want? Give the man credit for his achievements and you won't be saturated in your own hatred towards a good kiwi boy who worked hard for his achievements, got exploited by a couple of con artists and still won convincingly over who NZ thought was the new heavyweight. ( Shane better watch out for Reinsfeld) who was last quoted as saying that he loves Shane, like his own....sounds like Kevin Barry all over. Where's newage sulking nowadays? |

| believe it or not,wake up, its David Tua, of course he's getting international recognition, ESPN's boxing colomist Dan Rafael,and many in the boxing know,(and i'm not talking about bob jones, lance revill..etc) are happy he's back, nobody likes boring boxing matches, won by decision, everybody wants to see knockouts,brutal knockouts like the new ko on tua's portfolio, if you don't like that, stick to rugby , check that out peewee jaygosh, you still reading lance revills ,boxing column... |

| Tua got some good international recognition, believe it or not. Shane got international recognition too, but not for a good reason, unless you see a silver lining in it, like Shane will feature in many of David Tua's highlight reels all over the internet. |

No small mindness at all mate, I stand by my comments, I am a born and bred, raised and proud to be a kiwi, I do indeed accept David as a proud Kiwi of ours as well, I'm proud for his samoan people, but I feel the disrespect for cameron is uncalled for, so he said some things to hype the fight, and now people are using it against him, goodness sake, Tua is religous and placid so he is naturally going to be a humble person before the fight, shane had to hype it as much as he could, I just would have preferred him knocking out a frikin englishman and have tuas fanbase gloat about that, the fact that people are taking aim at Cameron is totally uncalled for and I'm not one who enjoyed seeing a man beaten so savagely like that, only inhumane people like to see that barbarism, cameron was hurt after the second knockdown in the first round ,that's when the fight should have been stopped. |

Nah, a true Kiwi would accept that Tua is both a New Zealander, and a Samoan, much like many in our society.
It's only small minded yokels that still think you're a foreigner unless you were born here.
NZ's strength comes from it's diversity and as such people like Tua, who wants to be a part of NZ and rtepresent us, should be allowed to do so without having idiots differentiate them at every turn. |

| As a proud new zealander through and through, hats off to you shane cameron, took a pummelling at the hands of tua and good on tua, thing is, I'm a proud new zealander, but if some take pleasure in seeing a new zealander knocked down by a samoan, I'm not one of them, I would have much preferred tua knocked out lennox lewis when he had the chance and gloated all he like as far as I'm concerned, not samoan bashing, I'm just saying, I'm proud of you Shane cameron, regardless of all the pampering tua is currently recieving. |

easy tiger..at least he had the balls to invite him unlike most of the so called champions of boxing who sit behind their managers. I love both of these boxers. It was a sad day for New Zealand boxing. It showed everybody the lack of depth in our boxing curcuit. Tua distroyed our number 2, and threw all of our international hopes back onto Tua. Now he's had a shot, which if you recall didn't go so well. And he's damaged his public profile from the fall out with his old manager. It's very political, and highly clicky out there, so good luck with another big fight coming up soon. As much as I'd love to see it . They're both great spirited fighters.
So....Tua better get a fight in the next six months or say goodbye to seeing a kiwi in anything with a real fighter in it for 2 years!!!! |

| I think CAMS got the makings of a champ in having guts but this has to balance up in moderation with an experienced team and some better quality opponents and preferably getting out of Australasia to fight. Tua, although aged, exposed CAM to the realities of the top tier fighters in the HW division outside of Australasia. There is no free bus ticket to the top, which is what CAM and camp tried to get in taking on an inactive Tua who was having personal battles in couurt. Bad decision! You have to do the hard yards abroad and NZs small pool of talent aint going to get you a serious ticket. CAM needs to regroup and not let the hype of the occassion get to him next time because it hurt his confidence in the end. NZ'ers need to rally behind both these boys (because they are the sons of NZ) & support their careers because unlike the americans and europeans, theres not that many kiwi's in the division representing us. Kia Kaha CAM & Faamalosi TUA. |
