| I have to agree with some of the sentiments here regarding Cameron and the local fight scene. Im expecting Tua to win the fight. He'll move on to the states like before and NZ Boxings poster boy will just fade away along with the crowd. The problem is there isn't enough HW fighters in NZ to fuel interest unlike the Oz's who have a whole stable of guys making the division at the very least interesting and competitive. Cameron vs Haumono/ Ben Edwards/ Leapai /Hoppa? these fights would've generated just as much interest imho and would've been in league with Camerons level atm. As Klitchko clearly demonstrated recently when you step up to a certain level of fighter who has amassed a wealth of experience, talent means very little... |

| unfortunately i have to agree with your comments about a lack of real boxing actually happening i know it is hard and yes very dangerous but to say you are the best and then only to defend your crown when it suits is just not right and the sport has definitely come into disrepute in recent years also all the different belts does not help either the is only one best soccer team, one best rugby team, every one wants their slice of the pie i suppose just like me really making this comment i would just like to see a good clean boxing display but that most likely will not happen for one reason or another but if proved wrong i will be happy best luck for both (no real or serious injuries as this is a bloody dangerous sport) |

Saw the weigh in on the news. Tua looks great, so does Cameron, but Camerons only 5kgs or so heavier.
The reporter mentioned something about the fight being stopped by a cut before 4 rounds it will be ruled a no contest. |

Official weights are in - Tua @ 107.8 kg (237.6 pounds) Cameron @ 103.5kg (228.2 pounds)
Tua has been described as "a little squishy" around the middle and Cameron as "ripped from head to toe"

I'm glad Shane has his supporters. I've always said I think shane is good for NZ boxing, and that this is the wrong fight for him.
Gopod luck to both guys, I'm a fan of both, but a bigger one of Tua I guess. And for once my heart and head are in agreement - this is Tua's fight. |

There are some people on this forum who, unfortunately, crave for attention so much that the only way they can do this is by firing insults at supporterâs ethnicity and by making other derogatory comments about them without any constructive posts about the fight.
I can only imagine that the person making comments about âbungaâsâ is the same person who smiles at them without saying a word in their face.
I can also imagine that this person has friends or family who are âbungaâsâ but because he/she is so angry at the lack of his/her own ability to make any worthwhile comments about the fighters, that they have to lower themselves down to playground assaults on people.
I could be wrong in both of these, which then mean that this person is just an angry soul with so much venom in their blood; who dislikes certain people because of fear of something they donât understand. Last century someone shared youâre same hate and changed the fate of more than 4 million people. Sad. |

that down againt rahman i wouldnt really call that a down more of a tip and fell back if anything, in tuas pro career i would have to say i dont think the has ever been a boxer that has rocked him with a good punch to the point where the legs turned to jelly...
