Kaneio - Fair enough mate, I'll try not to give you too much flack post October 3rd :)
I know what you mean re: boxer vs. fighter, but as stated I have my doubts about classifying Cameron as a boxer. IMO he's a fighter too, a sort of brawling slugger that wears guys down with pressure. Looking back over his career I start to think that Tua may be the first guy Camerons fought that wont work on. Tua can walk forward all night wearing huge shots and not only stay on his feet but fire back. Ah well, just over a week to go - we shall see soon :) |

| 12 round decision to Cameron is my pick. I am starting to get doubts now by looking at what commitment Tua has put in towards this fight. I go on the old fashioned boxer vs fighter method though. The boxer always wins! |

I cant see it Trei - if Tua's shots were to blame for Ike losing his marbles then it was partly because Ibeabuchi had a cast iron jaw and refused to go down.
Shanes been wobbled by a relative nobody in Davis and KO'd by a tough journeyman in Ahunanya.
Neither of these guys has anywhere near Tua's power :) |

"This highly anticipated clash of undefeated heavies did not disappoint. In fact, it set a record for the number of punches thrown in a heavyweight fight. Against all odds, Ibeabuchi triumphed by majority decision. It should have been his finest hour, not the beginning of the end.
Yet, clearly, Ike was never the same after this fight. Had he taken too many of Tua's heavy left hooks to the head? Or, as some folks claim, had one specific shot -administered by Tua at some point in the middle rounds - done the damage? For the first time ever, Ike was complaining of head pain after a bout. A MRI scan, however, revealed nothing out of the ordinary.
Whether or not the epic slugfest with Tua was to blame, Ike Ibeabuchi was fast becoming unglued. In a pathetic incident of what we now call "air rage," cops had to forcibly detain the incensed pugilist. He began to make ludicrous monetary demands of his promoters. He was tormented by demons visible only to his mother and himself. Much of his lunacy was reserved for his hapless sparring partners; one's head was split open, another almost had his leg broken.
A few months after the Tua fight, Ike abducted the son of a former girlfriend, threw him into his car, and drove straight into a concrete pillar, permanently injuring the poor boy. This atrocity earned Ike a paltry two months behind bars, but he was forced to pay an undisclosed amount of money to the boy's mother."
Now I surely hope that Cameron doesnt end up like this guy with so much potential. |

| you have to feel for cameron, i mean is this guy being played by reinsfeld or what?? i think this was only a way for reinsfeld and co to make a quick buck off cameron cause he just wasn't making waves in the sport to command the big bucks, i mean when was the last fight you heard of that had a 50/50 split for the money?? man thats just unheard of, cameron is a good boxer and thats it A GOOD BOXER, poor guy gonna get knocked the fugg out."DID I DO THE DAMAGE???" |

What is it about these boards that attracts trolls?
What a waste of space, obviously craving attention and isn't able to get any in the real world, so is reduced to trying to illicit reactions on internet forums. It's sad really, ah well... |
