NAH FORD ARE JUST GETTING SICK OF BEATING EACH OTHER AND WINNING ALL THE TIME IT'S GETTING RATHER BORING. THEY THOUGHT THEY WOULD LET HOLDEN GET THEIR HOPES UP, BY LETTING THEM WIN. IT TOOK HOLDEN UNTIL PRACTICALLY THE LAST TURN TO PASS A FORD THAT WAS ON USED UP TYRES.
OH WELL, WE CAN STILL REST PEACEFULLY KNOWING FORD ARE STILL LEADING THE CHAMPIONSHIP, DRIVERS ETC....
CAN HOLDEN PLEASE WIN A COUPLE MORE JUST TO MAKE THE CHAMPIONSHIP A LITTLE MORE EXCITING. |

| 3 totally dominant ford wins in a row versus some flukey wins from holden. Murphs last win was nothing but luck. It would have been Ford 1,2,3,4 and 5 with Murph coming in 6th if not for a saftey car. |

| Be careful what you wish for and I agree also for V8 Supercars to survive it needs more brands.Its only a matter of time.I think V8 Super-cars is going to be like Nascar with regards to everyone will be running the same cars just with a different body panels. |

Good comments Gary,
V8 racing unfortunatly is controlled by the "Big 2" which is why it,s so boring, they need to open it up like the old days when the Skylines were adding a bit of excitement to the racing.
German V8,s, GTR,s, Lexus V8,s and Rotary,s would open up the interest across the board and would swell Motorsport fans at the big race especially.
The Bathurst 12 hour is great viewing, and it is a good indication how production cars go in the real world, and for me is more relevent and realistic. |

Hi everyone, as a Ford supporter going way back to the Lotus Cortina Mk 1 to the RS Capri's and still a supporter even when we couldn't win a damned race. or so it seemed, I am amazed at ,now Ford are winning,how many people are coming out and supporting the product.
A few years back a Ford supporter was a lonely thing to be so I hope you are not fair weather supporters, like when and if Holden starts to win again that you don't all change camps.
Rotary's, now there's an interesting topic, how many know that they were not allowed to use Peripheral port engines in the racing in Aussi, how many ever saw them race at Bathurst, I was there the last year Moffat raced his car and he had dominated the racing that year, but every obstacle was put in his way so he could not win the "great race", just as it was for Bartlet in the Camaro.
I would love to see them open it up like they have it in Europe, or even all comers as long as it is a V8, Toyota have a pretty awsome V8 engine, as do Mercedes, Audi etc, that would be an awesome test of a race car, the mountain is a real test of car and driver.
Am I still pro Ford ,yes. but that doesn't mean that I don't admire or enjoy driving any great car regardless of Badge.
