Well Done Ruth, thats a not too bad looking squad you got there! Just a small addition would be Larissa Wilcox in the squad not an additional player....but am please that you have recognised her potential. I still think Aussie is going to clean the floor with us but from the limited number of players that you have to select from, the above would have to be the best. I probably would have tried to convince Wilkins to play but other than that...it looks okay. Aussie on the otherhand are going to look SPANKIN! Unfortunately!!! Well done for recognising that Casey Williams is THA MAN!!!! and as such needs to be rewarded for it! You rock sister! Can't wait for September....don't forget to give Maria and Irene a big fat working over! GRRRR Maria! |

3. Francis Solia - I had such high hopes for her being a specialist WA and all....but WOW has she been a let down! She started the season and that game really well and with a big huge Hiss and Roar but drrrrrt declined rapidly from there! Bye bye Fancis!
4. Jolene Henry: What is wrong with you???? She looks completely lost and out of sorts at WD?????? She has totally lost her "fire in the belly" and went completely AWOL in the game at times! Perhaps someone needs to make her angry before the game for her to play with a bit of fire!

I am absolutely basozzled! I think Kath Harby-Williams summed it up beautifully during that ridiculous game (which shall not be mentioned) when she said "Thunderbirds - all contributors they had no passengers!" That was so true, all 7 players on court were contributed, Magic on the other hand. Grrrrrr shame on yous! Lets have a look at Magics contributors shall we, contributors to their loss that is:
1. Noelene Taurua - Granted, what players do on court is out of her control! BUT, the team decisions made during the game is in her control. The line up on court is in her control! The composition of the team for the season is again in her control! Game plan is in her control! Player Preparedness is in her control and if they are not prepared why not! that is her JOB! she needs to hammer them in training or BENCH THEM! And if she can't look to her bench for replacement players THEN THEY SHOULDN'T BE IN THE TEAM! Speaking of bench players she really needs to give them more court time and organize e a better rotation plan or something! Again TOTALLY in her control!
2. Maria Tutaia - right at the top of my list of players! It is embarrassing now! She and VanDyk have been a pairing for far too long now to be playing like that! If they haven't got it now...they will never have it! Why isn't Noelene hammering her in trainings?!!!!!! Granted she is one in a pair, but VanDyk is putting the shots up and has maintained a good average and is continuuing to do the business! Maria is unfit and a complete airhead! Airhead in that the GA position requires a strategic, play maker mind, like Sharelle who leads her end with an iron fist! Maria is a leadee not a leader! The problem is right.....we have a GS trying to play GA! Thats like mutton trying to look like lamb! Okay so the anaelogy may not be good but the point i was trying to make is that its just WRONG! |

| Wowweeeee! what a day for netball yesterday!!!!! Extremely proud of both Magic and Pulse more so for Pulse they have had some heartbreaking losses over the course of the ANZ Championship. They did some dumb shet passing and shet but wow they still managed to beat them nonetheless. YYYEEEHHAAAA! It stands to reason that Magic should win and let me just say that it was not pretty at all but a win is a win. I'd bge proud to have the win but certainly not how the win was obtained!!!! | It is looking very much like a Magic (touch wood) and Vixens final....any predictions as to who will take it????? that being said will Magic beat the Thunderbirds in a couple of weeks and who will be the first NZ team to be an oz team on australian soil!!!!! and why have Magic not done this yet???? |

But wholey hell! Defensively and shooter circle wise they are stanking up the place! If i started pointing out all of their problems i'll be here all night, feel sorry for Temepara though...it'll be curtains for her soon and she'll be ending on a garks note!
Still not as bad as the NSW Swifts! POOOOOOOOOHEY! Beaten by the Fever thats gotta hurt the ole pride girls! How demoralising! SHAMEEEE! Yous need better defense, try and get Larissa Wilcox to play for you fullas!
Firebirds, you fullas are quiet a little too quite i think! Yous beat the Magic and then slipped back into your shell! What are you's up to? My mum always says, the loud kids are the best cos you can hear them and know what they are up to, its the quiet ones you wanna watch! Gotta fly but tune in for the next installment of whatever is in my head!

Man, i've been a bit quiet aye! Been loving the ANZ Championship so far...feel really sorry for the Pulse but am holding on to the faith that they will prevail this year and pull in their first win and i'm picking that it may be against the Tactix! All they have to do is tie Jody Brown up and force Anna Thompson to take the shot! She'll ' f ' it up everytime! Its not that i'm hating on the Tactix but honestly they are bloody painful to watch at the moment! ANNA THOMPSON...GO TO THE POST EVERY TIME! If not then GET OFF! I'll tell you who i am loving this year and she plays for the Tactix is Larissa Wilcox, former Fever player! She is dynamic man and i think she needs to donn the old black and silver! Shes quick, physical and reads the play exceptionally well! I'm also impressed with Maree Bowden she is playing some brilliant netball at the moment...which i expected after Adine Wilson made herself avilable for the Steel this year. At the moment i have Bowden winning the selection race over Wilson, but i would never count Wilson out well not yet anyway!
Hating Thunderbirds right now! Monia has toned down hard out this year....mind you, she has been served twice now in such a short time by ole Sharelle MeMahon! Monia was mean hard out waxed! bahahahahahaha. I think the thing i hate about the the Thunderbirds right now is ole Medhurst who is a dirty player exceptional shooter and does a lot of work off the ball but she can be really dirty and theres just no need for it! Hating Beverege i think its cos shes so good this year! Anyway blah blah to the the Thunderbirds.
Steel are building well but they still lack a certain zing i reckon! I don't what it is, they are just not as fluid as they use to be! I've noticed that they are struggling defensively and if they are going to have any fighting chance in the comp they need to address that NOW! Mystics, well what can i say about the Mystics, they are just not good enough! Strong mid court in Grant and George |

| Went and watched Magic and the Tactix play tonight in the Waipa Pre-season Netball tournament in Te Awamutu. Magic played ....like pooh e and lost! Can you believe it they lost! Funny thing is right, yeh Magic did'nt have the strongest team on the court but neither did the Tactix and they have less Silverferns than Magic! They lost it was absolutey gobb smacking!Irene and Maria played well below Par. Jessica Tuki showed good form making her debut for in the black, yellow , red and gold! Halana Leith played half a game at goal attack and to my dismay stayed on despite putting up only 2 or 3 shoots per quarter. Casey Williams put on a fantastic display of athletism with some very acrobatic intercepts. Francis Solia - the former Wellington Pulse captain had a shaky start to the game but pick up grandually as the game wore on! All in all, Magic Fans hopefully it'll get better...because it cannot get any worse! |

| Okay so i can't wait for the Trans-Tasman Comp to get up and runnning again!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think NZ are going to be a lot more competitive this year....the comp has brought a few oldies out of the wood works and evened out the spread of our good players a bit more! That being said Magic and Steel are loaded with ferns current and ex but at least now Pulse have an nz international player. I'm interested to see how Francis Solia who is playing for Magic goes! She is a very talented player, playing for the Pulse and now that she has some top players...around her i expect that she'll be absolutely magical! i'm most rexcited to see how Sting go with the return of Wilson and Wilkins.....that should be a good one! in fact i think they face the Magic first up! YEEEEEEHHHHHAAAAA!!!!!!!! !!!! |
