| rugby league?state of origin?big deal!its only played in a few states in aussie and the world cup was 4 or 5 countries plus a few pacific teams.in nz its a tiny game.they have a rest each time they are tackled.rugby eats it for breakfast and spits it out the other end any day of the week.netball has way more numbers.watching two australian state teams playing a footie game,wow that really is news of the century.yawn.... |

Just let them enjoy the history making year even though they got SMASHED in the final game.
Frustration shown when the players wanted to bring out the biff at the end stage when they realise the chance of bring on the whitewash in front of the home crowd is gone for good. Dunno what Price is doing dusting up with White, even a cool head like him had that major of a meltdown. Tells you alot about the maroon players doesn't it.
Anyway, good series win for queensland, but the blues will definitely be back next year to grab the title back.
onto the review of the 3rd game now. Watmough consolidated his place in the starting lineup next year and so does Creagh. Dumbface should just be kept injured and never play another SOO. Kimmorley had a great game, especially on the defensive end when he made several telling tackles after queensland had made breaks. Other than that both set of halves didn't really separate themselves out from each other. Jennings didn't really get much quality balls from the halves. Wolfman really does not deserve another call up, got palmed away by Inglis several times like how he did with Soward in round 1. Speaking of which, both Inglis and Hodges had a great game.
But the man of the series for me got to go to Hayne. He had been simply outstanding in all 3 games played this year. He is just simply too dangerous whenever he gets the ball.
I will congratulate the qld for winning this year's series, and will look forward to next year when both team sort out their injuries and combination.

Steve price did start the melee btw, he did knee brett white in the head as he was getting up to play the ball, I though it was a great fight and great origin game, reminded me of the old days, that's what origin is all about, absolutely love watching the aussies smack the hell out of eachother |
