| can't see JT leaving townsville, last year of his contract i think? surely they'll extend it so he remains in the tropics, be quite a coup on the warriors part to pull that signing off, i wouldn't bother, i'd invest in young shaun johnson, he'd be worth a punt in top grade, has all the tools, he could even become as good as JT |

Step in the right direction for sure
Mannering is a born leader, always the first name written on the team sheet, freakishly consistent, bodes well for a good season, nice to see Pricey relieved of the captaincy to be frank.
If the rumours are true about Thurston wanting to join the Warriors, he would be the missing link that would probably be able to get us a premiership. Even looking at a guy like Cooper cronk, it's no secret you need decent halves to win a premiership. |

| I think having Mannering at Captain is pretty good. He only missed a few games at the end of the year thru injury and besides that he has missed very few games - leading by example even tho you cant help getting injured. I dont think I have ever seen Mannering loose his cool or anything, and it will be good experience for him to be able to lead the Warriors while still having Steve there for him who he can go to and learn from. It would be pretty hard just chucking someone in the deep end next after Pricey leaves so its good that they want to develop someone and they obviously see potential in Mannering to be a good Captain and lead the team strongly |

The coach can only do so much.Its up to the players to turn up every week and give 100% Pride for your club and the fans.
The coach must have their respect and and like so with the players.If you play as a team and REALLY WANT TO WIN then you can do it.When I played sport I played to win didnt like to loose and if we did I came out stronger the next week. I liked to be told well done after a game.ITS NOT HARD TO DO.Well boys dont talk about winning just do it
EVERY WEEK....Good Luck for 2010
