Yes and lets not forget there are 6 other teams struggling on the points ladder also
Warriors have the worst away record, obviously because we are based in Auckland, NZ
I think people forget the travel factor at times |

This thread is "Go Warriors"...so if you're on here that means as disappointing as this season has been, and I or anyone else the loves this team good and bad should be here and we will be the first to say we have not lived up to expectation.
BUT until they say we are not in the playoffs in 09 i will continue to complain, get frustrated and most importantly SUPPORT our boys until next season starts.
The annoying thing is... when people come on here be-arching about our boys and go "they are this, they are that, they su.., they are sh.." but as soon as they start winning they jump back on the band wagon.

| Still can't get over why they got rid of Witt and Fien - the two that got us to the semis last year. We had a great combination last year and they decided to ruin that. Also, this is not sending a great message to other future Aussie imports coming to the Warriors. I don't really have much probs with them signing Moon and Kemp, though I would never have promised Moon with the 6 jersey - that's Witt's and Witt's only. Moon played in the centres for the Broncos and that's where he should be. What a great find with Locke may be they need to send O'Regan to first grade as well to replace Jones. |

I totally agree with ya,Stacey has done his dash he should just retire fully with honour,good on him thou for wanting to continue,but yea,as for Ivan Cleary as coach,well I don't know what he's showing these blokes in training week in & week out,but it's certainly got nothing to do with how to tackle,cause I'll tell you,when you are going to try & stop your opponents going high in a tackle your always going to lose & I can't believe how sometimes their a 3 Warriors going into a tackle & they all go high,where's the mana in our tackling that we use to produce from players back in the 70's,80's,like Kevin Tamati,Mark Graham Dane & Kurt Sorenson etc.these players new how to tackle their opponents by going one up & one day & the third player tackles the middle section to drive the opponents backwards,as it is now,all the Warriors seem to do,is go high when theirs 3 of them in a tackle situation & their dragging their opponents with the ball into them instead of driving them backwards,you know what I mean ay.
Somebody needs to tell Cleary that,as for the Aussie players in the Warriors,Joal Moon ex Broncos,Denan Kemp ex Broncos,what in the hell have these guys done for the Warriors so far.

Not all is lost - I'm looking forward to next year for the Warriors.
They've certainly freed up a lot of money recently.
Steve Price and Brent Tate are committed to the Warriors cause next year along with some great new buys in the off season hopefully.
I think when you spend big money on big name players like Price and Tate, sure it's expensive at first but you retain these guys and in their 2nd & 3rd year for the Warriors the club is ready to spend big money again, and add more quality players to the team mix.
It will be interesting to see what players the club buys next year |

Finally Mr. Adjudicator published my piece on the fox sports website, 5 emails later he decided to publish this one of my beuti's.
Warriors fan Darryn of Christchurch says: "I feel sorry for your wife, not only watching the warriors lose but having to listen to you pay them out every week. I agree with most you said Mr.A however your comments about Stacey are a dumbfounded as your ability to tip. im with you Di,
its time for THE WARRIORS to make a run and win the next 8 in a row and blow this NRL comp wide open. We need 7 to make the top8 and possible top 4 if the the teams above us all loose the next 4 games in a row.
Anyway our first win has to come this Friday. I tipped the co's but i don't mind loosin my tips to see our boys win. |
