| man that was a mad mad game....finally when nathan fien remembered he was supposed to be playing hooker and not halfback stacy gets the ball and does what he always does... damn was that the mighty mouse intro i just heard....great game considering both teams were down to 2 man benches by games end, glad to see the rookie pull off some good D after his shocker carries, most guys would have crawled into a little corner and hid but with the team spirit these guys got this year you can just feel something great is coming, can't wait! |

I don't want top get ahead of myself here, but I'm pretty optimistic about the Warriors this year, they've always had the personel to make some noise, but it seems they've got the attitude and cool heads that were missing in some years.
This is it, the year the Warriors bring home a premiership :) |

WHAT A TEAM, vs Manly at brookvale oval, Usually get smashed of the park....But not on sunday most other teams would have crumbled to manly and their dangerous attacking game, but not the mighty warriors, in the face of adversity and last years premiers show heart and determination.
The Warriors Have sent a message to all clubs.....We coming to get you!!
Stacey Jones to do what he did in his first game, old school jones magic...is truly magic. He offered all his exp, and gave his all. With him at the helm hes taking the warriors to the grand final like he did in "02" ohh yeah that's right we beat the best at home muscled out the eels and the broncs we will 'hunt' them down.
The Question is with the warriors playing this good

It was always going to be hard to keep all your good players under the salary cap at Manly, on top of that some teams bought well and are looking to prove something this year.....for there clubs.....State of origin and International bragging rights.
Its only early but warriors are looking twice the team they were last year..last years team would of folded after 10min but not this mob, We are making the top 4 and things look good early and our depth has been proven to be in tact.
This wekend we are going 3-0. broncoes to loose by 12 see you fellas at MT Smart (hey that spells "mt..smart..thats me)Any way, Can't wait for Saturday night!! |

Great to see so many of the regular postees still around, mt fialemaa di warrust bosons ajofbrisbane, Great stuff and storminglis, It's been a while, feel quite ashamed to have to stand up for my eagles!!, dealt to by the dogs and beaten by the warriors , NTM, brett stewart and his off field dramas , nuff said!,, beaver menzies is a huge loss for us, he was our mr fix it, hopefully we can find the sort of form that helped us win the Nrl last year and just recently the world club title, not that it counts for much atm !,, anyways congratz on the victory very well deserved, great to see stacey jones back, awesome performance, great comeback. |

nah, keep the new boy there. he'd have been sh!tting himself in such a big game. he came back into his own with some big hits and strong(er) ball carries as the game progressed. He's had a taste and will be starting to believe he can handle it..put him back on the horse.
Jeez what a nailbiter! thought they could come back..Manly were stuffed and could barely hold on...same as big Manu!
Best start to a season since '02? |

so this new boy ukuma....just a temporary fill-in based on his performance today? plenty of mistakes from him in the his first few minutes of the match. Maybe a trip to the reserve grade to work on his skill perhaps? If Luck is not back next week who would you guys still persist with ukuma or try bring in O'Regan?

Warriors have done us proud, last year it was weeks before we got our first win outside smack down stadium.
storm1 mate you'd be wanting to shoot yourself after both Storm and manly going down.
again reason for our win: we have depth all the fill ins stepped up and even though some of our starting lineup played terrible. |

now here's a dilemma, who would you put on as the super sub for the warriors in the later rounds? Huntly Hurricane or the Little General?
or, who would you omit if both are in the 17?
such a big question for the coach....I am guessing it would be on the weekly basis depending on the opposition and Stacey Jone's physical condition. |

| warriors looked ok last week, still got dented by hayne and mateo but, eels couldve easily won that game If it wasn't for hohias Impact, warriors still look vulnerable , manly's Nrl champs , we know how to win, we world club champs, just a hiccup last week, manly's not scared of the warriors, beat them heaps last year and the finals 34/6 |
