| No. The problem is the fact that alot more australians have been signed for us this year, making it a smaller team. look at our backs, denan kemp was absolutely rubbish, his nose probably got in the way of him being able to play, joel moon - rubbish, one four try game and all of a sudden he was playing in the right position, get over yourselves. admittedly tho, our best forwards are luck and price, i cant see how u can say luck is uselss seeing as he is the nrl's highest tackler. and price is well.. just price., its time we bring back more polynesin beef in the team, the days of lauititi, paleasina, seuseu, vilisanti. i have noticed over the last 2 years, the team is growing in terms of USED BY , OVER RATED australian players. time to get rid of cleary as well. oh one more thing,change the fricken name back to AUCKLAND WARRIORS! THE WARRIORS REPRESENT AUCKLAND NOT THE WHOLE OF NZ! IF SO, PLAY GAMES IN CHCH, WELLINGTON, HAMILTON, DUNEDIN ! |

| theve had all season too play for themselves though actually they had all season to play for finals berth we pay money to sit in them seats if they really want to play for themselves then we should just let them play in a empty stadium |

I really want to see more attacking play to bring McKinnon to the front foot ball. So many times he had to play a linking play instead of becoming a running rapier which makes him so deadly in 2007. The warriors are not using a style of attacking game that suits McKinnon at the moment. I rarely sees him taking the ball with space to work with.
I,for one, would be very interested to see what kind of attacking play Seymour, and eventually Johnson will hopefully bring to the warriors. One thing's for sure is that there will be more direct running attacking the defense line from those two than our aging general. |

I still believe that while Stacey is not solely for the blame, his presence in this time doesn't necessary lift up other people's performances. I still have the suspicion that other players had the "let Stacey solve the problem for us" attitude, especially in the forward pack.
okay, going onto the positives
Moon had been maturing well, Ta'ai is slowing becoming a great attacking force, Heremaia made less mistakes now, Lillyman surprisingly had done well in the front row (hope he can still change his mind about not wanting to play as prop).
Now with both Price and Mannering out for the next round, I hope Packer, Tuimavave and Matulino step up for the roles, especially Matulino as I had such a high expectation for him.
I'll still be waiting for that little pop pass for McKinnon to run onto. |

| kaneio....mate you a right about the difference in the halves....but mate the biggest difference is the forward pack....to be honest they have been soft and ineffective all year and not providing a platform for the halves or have they been intimidating....add into that the fact that opposition coaches know Stacey IS our only attacking option its not hard to send 2 or 3 defenders at him at once.....Stacey is not and has not been my teams problems this year.....collectively has a whole they have been poor but to try and blame The Little General is WRONG....GO THE WARRIORS |
