next season, geeese i don't know......if we are to make a GF or even (i dream every night) win a GF we need to perform under pressure if we can't then next year will be the same.
On the other hand sometimes we don't know how to handle a wining streak either cause that also have its pressures. the eels are doing a warriors 08 on everyone. ah well back next year for another episode of what could be? and what might of? and maybe even what the hell we won the GF!!! |

relax jambo,
what are ya 11yrs old?
its obvious you need some of the good stuffso you don't take life too seriously, ....if you read what i said i actually agree with your rant about why tates not performing. we have got a struggling front row but thats my team, whats your team and if its not the warriors what are you doing on a "go warriors" thread??? |

| What is wrong with Ivan Cleary? If you look at the difference between the team this year and last year, one name springs to mind, Stacey (I lost a lot of money to my property manager and that is why I have come back for a season) Jones. He was great when there was pressure on his position with the likes of Fien, Witt and Roveli. Once they departed, Jones didn't really give a *** how he played because he knew there was no pressure on him to perform. |

Its extremely frustrating , but i bet the Warriors with no more pressure will be on fire for the last few games and end up a couple of points from reaching the top 8.
The Aussies are a smart bunch, knowing the warriors ALWAYS crumbles under pressure and expectations,so they cunningly name them as the 3rd favorite to win the comp b4 the 2009 season. |

Looking at the season as a whole, it is much easier to comment about the boys. Warrust i think old moon needed a season to settle into the big change he when through by coming to nz, must have been a big desision to make.
Looking at him in the past 3 weeks you would be a fool to drop him now, hes settled in nicely now.
Plz dont expect much from the warriors next year, 2010 will be a "09" hangover with nothing changing in the needed area, coach, managment, selectors ect.
They need a complete fresh start with new coach, forward coaches, and they really need a decent kicking coach.
But how is that before sundays game i said to my m8, "whats the bet that thy win by 20 now that there's no pressure on. Could not have been more right. Man its was great to see some well constructed trys, but at the sametime it hurt real bad too, i was left saying "where the hell has that been all season, why couldnt you do that 4 weeks ago when it mattered"
Oh well thats the warriors for ya.!!
Warriors 2011 (unless the give cleary his marching orders) |

| speaking of which, i see that Moon has been maturing nicely in the last few games. Would that be a good move to persevere with him? at least in the centre-standoff position? |

there is absolutely nothing to validate this they are going to do better next year talk
wat are they gonna do next year?
kick it to the other winger instead of manu on the 6th tackle ?
is that the big attacking strategy for next year?
CLEARY'S GOTTA GO! |

| i agree jambo - its obvious cleary is out of his depth when he has super stars like brent tate and denan kemp, joel moon and jacob lillymen. At the broncoes they were awsome even if the bronc's were playing badly but ever since they been in the warriors tates been kept quiet and kemp and moon who were excellent while at the broncoes have struggled even to get any form going this year....smells like a dud coach to me. |

| re:Denan Kemp..I think the warriors were a bit quick to jump onto denan last year.while he was in the top 3 tryscorers alot of that credit had to go to Daryn Lockyer and Peter Wallace..Look at Antonio Winterstien,id never heard of him before this season and hes pretty much the denan of 09..Daryn Lockyer could make any average winger look great. That being said I could probably count on 1 hand the amount of times the warriors halves went to his wing on 5th tackle, instead relying on the Ropati/Vatuvei combinaton. The early loss of Brent Tate also contributes to the Warriors one dimensional plays. So i think Denan has potential, its just that he hasnt really been given the best of chances to show what he can do.. |

baninhot - no worriies man, and its not a punishment, its a Priviledge, to not only have the only NRL team in NZ but to be the few that still hang in the hope of glory in the NRL and our day will come, just not this year.
So we'll still be here next year banging the same tune and singing the same song "Go Warriors!!!" |
