Correct most scrums are not contested in League but League is about the speed of the game and never based on srum wins or "pause, touch engage" rubbish that goes on and on and on, sometimes ruggers scrums can take up to 3 minutes before any ball is put in, scrums are important to a "stand around" game like ruggers.
BUT thats the great thing about League you never know if the next scrum will be contested, seen it already this year in the NRL where teams weren't expecting a push and the opposite team won it.....see its all about the "element of surprise" thats why League is GREAT!!

| There musta been a time when they contested the scrums. I don't know why they have them when it's practically golden oldies. |

| Im a union fan and its all i have played my whole life but league is just a way better spectacle at the moment. Way more entertaining to watch. Maybe i should switch codes. |
