billys been firing on all cylinders for about 5 years straight, the ultimate consistent player, consistency is a huge factor when aus selectors choose a roo team, their pretty loyal to the ones who have done the job in the past
jared wasn't playing good enough footy to warrant selection in the world cup, but he has carried on the form in nrl he showed for fiji and going from strength to strength. |

Hayne started firing last year when he was left out of the Australian team and played for Fiji in the WC. He has carried that form through to this year, could've been player of the origin series earlier this year as well.
Slater is still number one fullback but Hayne might get a shot at fullback against France. |

| i agree slater is a better fullback but i just dont think hayne will play as well as he has been if he is playing out of position i mean i know he can play on the wing but its like putting billy on the wing - he could still play but just not as well as he would be at fullback. |

| billy slater is a better fullback then hayne, hayne is only getting recognition because he played scintilating footy during the latter half of the nrl, billy slater has dominated australian fullback play since 2004 and ousted challengers like karmichael hunt, anthony minichello and brett stewart so he's not their for no reason |

the only impression i got from Reddy is his try in a NSW cup (?) GF against david peachy's north sydney bears a couple of years ago. He literally stepped the whole opposition from the left side of the pitch to score in the right hand corner.
Slater first off the Cam Smith grubber out of the two.
Though I would like to see hayne starts and finishes a 100m movement from a Cam Smith grubber as well. |
