Kia 'Ora' My Friend,

Yea I too went to the game yesterday, was sitting in the Sth stand & it was awesome good to see the boys have a good win especially at home & yea I too agree that Lance Hohaia had a very good game at fullback,I feel sorry for this kid, cause they play him as a utility & I know that Lance doesn't mind where they play him as long as he gets a game, but boy ok he may not have the flair of Wade Mckinnon at fullback, but after seeing him play yesterday he was never out of position, chimed in when he wanted to,defence was strong & was on hand to score one of the tries,so yea if they play him for the next few games at fullback he can only get stronger in that position & maybe give Wade Mckinnon something to think about, hopefully he will get picked for the Kiwis up & coming test against the Aussies this month for the centennary ANZAC dual,as for Manu Vateuvai all power yesterday scoring 2 tries, but he still has to get over his fear of catching the highball as he amazingly only slipped up once on that,But yea,I tell you us sitting in the sth Stand yesterday,we were giving Sonny Bill Williams a Hard time, yelling out Sonny Who'we said that several times during the game & when Sonny Fai scored the last try for the Warriors,Everybody in our stand yelled out again Sonny Who,we all said SONNY FAI & I tell you SBW gave us one of those looks, but it was algud.

Hohaia at full back is working quite nicely aye, hes solid under the high ball and strong running it back!

the whole played smarter this week and were better disciplined, being able to withstand the presurre on their line then going on to score! AWESOME!

Glad they put the dogs away and closed the game out! Smart playing!

was it rovelli who put the bomb up for ah van to score? general kickign game getting better so theres hope!

Patrick ah van impressed me, i was a doubter on him and manu but they are work horses after all!

Awesome game. Took my son down to Mt Smart, good crowd in. The boys turned it on.

Agreed "our defence won it for us on the weekened against the bulldogs" There was a period in the second half where the warriors defended the line...drop out after drop out and they just kept repelling the bulldogs and ended up with Manu scoring down the other end of the field. For me that period of defense won the game.

Was impressed with Hohaia at fullback, was sceptical to how he would go there but being at the game, his positional play off the ball and his support play was like he has always been a fullback, wouldnt be suprised if he makes fullback for the test next month.

Fantastic effort on the weekend, much better effort from the front to the backs, everyone contributed. i know i hassled Ruben about his leadership but sundays game just showed he still got a little left in the tank. Ruben keep going mate if you play like that for the next 5-6 weeks we are going to win more games then losing them.

Personally i think our defence won it for us on the weekened against the bulldogs, not so much our offence. We know we can score points the key is, not let the opposition score and when you do that mistakes happen then we capitalise on them as we did on sunday.

Congradulation to Sonny Fai for his first try as a top grader hopefully the kid can bring some more power to his game and help get us closer to our goal....GF.

go the warriors!
