Hopinhoe - I think you are a mind reader because you pretty said what I was thinking! Lots of experience lost in the last few years but there are many willing to step up and take their place. Yup those players have proven worthy of the Kiwis jersey and they dont play like newbies, they play like they have been in the time for a while but are still fresh players
I hated seeing Aussie dominate too but i love the rivarly between our two countries, and yeah Aussie still have thurston and lockyer and all the other good players but i fully agree with you how you said they cant just turn up and think they can win.
Kearney is one of the best things to happen to NZ League IMO. |

F.Y.I
Karmichael hunt has signed a 6 month contract to play rugby union in france for biarritz olympique prior to taking up his contract with the Gold caost AFL franchise..
and Willie mason is presumably in talks with asian union clubs about a possible switch of codes ( can't spell j.a.p.a. nese) strange !

Luke Rooney to union, no worries
Fraser anderson to union, no worries
Craig wing to union, no worries
Mark gasnier to union..ding ding ding, uh oh, alarms bells are ringing
Sonny bill williams to union.. ding ding ding, warning sirens are gtting deafning, but still, let's hate him
Karmichael hunt to a.f.l, no way, last straw right their
inglis will be able to stuff up and get away with anything, cos he aint reni maitua, setaimata sa, greg bird, todd carney ,brett seymour , nate myles or brad fittler, they can make fools of themself all they like, but the Aus league officials are always gonna protect inglis |

Well put madaxe001
Could it be that he is a protected species because Australian and league officials realise he is a valuable asset to their code?
I know for sure they wouldn't want to see him running around in Rugby union or AFL
I think in Inglis case he is Mr rugby league, Of course they will do anything in their powers to protect their precious commodity

isnt it amazing how they banned him...then let him play till the trial so he was in the nrl final...
then it was held over because he said that he will contest...so he could join the OZ team in the 4 nations....
yup old Australia can make amazing excuses for its own players and not suspend them...
yet the New zealand players are dropped, suspended and fined all in a days work by Australian Nrl and league officials....
INGLIS BASHED a WOMAN....and is HELD high enough to represent hes COUNTRY...
Sonny Bill leaves the dogs because of CORRUPT officials...
and HES WHAT...BRANDED a COWARD, TURNCOAT, ETC....
your a bunch of one eye w.a.n.k.e.r.s as far as im concerned....axe

I agree with sessel29, madaxe001 and gregory1daboi09
some good valid points made by all three, good point sessel29 about the loss of experience in the kiwis ranks,
the likes of wiki, vagana, jones, kidwell, fa'alogo, cayless, that's a whole host of veterans and experience lost, but the new breed that kearney has assembled and showed faith in are doing a tremendous job, building depth for the future in the likes of sau, goodwin, nuuasala, waerea hargreaves, not really much notice was given to these players , but they've proven worthy of a kiwis jersey, whereas you look at the aussie team
their getting on a bit, lockyer, thurston, smith, civoniceva, hindmarsh, the class is still their for australia, but they can no longer expect to just turn up and arrogantly think they can win, times have changed for the betterment of league I say, I hated seeing australia dominate. |

yup....the kiwis are human missles...lol...who want to win EVERYTHING...lol..
Australia are trying to stay away from the missles....as an injury may ruin a already payed for career...lol..
nope they havent got a timeline against the kamakazi kiwis....lol...and they cant duck the bullets either...lol..
great stuff...their already making excuses before the english test....lol...
for the greatest test side in history...they have proved...
they are not....
cant handle the pressure ....in big games...
and are totally under the pump...long may it continue.... |

I agree with everything "gregory1daboi09" said. Aussie have lost it in my opinion and even those newbies and debutants even tho playing against aussie they played well they didnt lack experience or anything!
"we can stand up now and appreciate our own players instead of idolising the likes of hayne and inglis and lockyer, Id rather idolise blokes in our team, like perrett, matai, hohaia, consumate professionals in their own right but without the gloss and hype of the kangaroo players,
the opportunities that harrison, locke, mattelino, goodwin, foran have to learn off the likes off lima and blair is priceless for the development of our youth,
australia pummelled us in the anzac test but once again we've quickly adapted and learnt from that game and come back an improved outfit, keep it up Kiwis."
Yup totally agree with that - its about time nz started supporting and praising our players for the growing idols that they are to some. lima and blair although have few tests to their name like many other in the kiwis team atm still have that experience that the young ones can learn and feed off and this is what the kiwis need - they have lost a few good players in the last few years with wiki, vagana, jones and kidwell retiring from test football. i think this team now is a keeper because they are willing to learn and put the hard yards in to get the result they want and they are willing to teach the newbies and also learn from kearney |
