| players are switching from league to rugby purely for money and why wouldn't they ? the money is better than what they get in league without the physical demands of league.why get bashed around in league for pittance when they can get through a game of rugby without even getting dirty for alot more money.Makes sense to me.SBW seems to be a one man show at the doggies so may be a little despondent there,he could be the next to go.Big loss for league.Bigger loss for the kiwis |

are the top players in league selling their souls to union purely for the love of the game?
or is it because of the pulling power of the almighty union dollar? their seems to be top players going from league to union all the time now? like Mark Gasnier being the latest high profile defector,Shontayne Hape has recently 'Defected' to union,Timana Tahu,Lesley Vainikolo,Henry Fa'afili,Craig Gower,Andy Farrell? not to mention established former leaguies Berrick Barnes,Brad Thorn,Lote Tuqiri,Brett Sheehan, who could be the next 'Big' high profile union target 'SBW'?,Inglis? |
