| putionz.. chur bro, you've hit the nail on the head!. dach17...... you have too. The aussies only care about their own game, because lets face it, there's really no other comp anywhere else that can compare with theirs! Super league's full of 'posers' & ex-pat 'has beens' (not talkin bout the PI boys who didn't get a shot here, & are shining over there though!Their time will come) :-) |

australia is the stronghold of league - but the aussies dont give 2 hoots about the international game....all they care about is themselves and how their comp is run... anything other than that can wait...
international eligibility rules are a farce...maybe good for the island teams, but is only short term.
putions is right - the players are the assets, hopefully the nrl can see that and hope no more sonny bill sagas happen again...
as for sonny bill - his eyes must be wide open now!!!:):):)
manu samoa needs a centre sonny!!! lol |

saholin
you touch in an interesting point. with all the hoohaa surroungindg Sonny Bill's departure I feel that League will suffer in the lon term if they (admin) refuse to look at tidying up some of their regulations. There are huge question marks over the cap and a percetpion that the League enslaves it's talent but it's weird that some of the things my bro's and I disucussed going way back seem to be rearing it's head now.
I think it's scarey but it's great the NRL and any admin have gpot to understand that their assets are the players and admin need to earn their moneuy by keeping player in the game and generating interest whilst growing the game. I think aussies roundabout desire to be in full contorl will prove to be the death knell for League...

That's not an accurate list, they've just named Samoan players from the NRL and Super League, lol.
The majority of the squad will be from Super League. |

I aint sa but i reckon samoas got a awesome team..
Though half the players named were named in the Kiwis team or already have played for the Kiwis and most probly will play for them again..
I think the whole eligibilty thing needs 2 be sorted out so that Samoa can get there best team 2gether but also so that the Kiwis dont miss out coz lets be honest..
90% of that squad was born in NZ! |

Just relaying some of the information for the rlwc2008 website. It is really a farce the way they are doing things, I think this squad might need to ommit two players depending on kiwi selection.
At least Samoa isn't naming players like Setaimata Sa, like Tonga has in Willie Mason and Anthony Tupou. |
