| I dont know peter, but rugby isnt the game we all love. Most Kiwis follow it and would like the abs to win but watching a Kiwi league team beat aussie in a WC final would have all league watchers in raptures. If the abs won in a rugby Wc it would bring a sigh of relief |

| I think its good for the game (rugby league) that SBW left now they can learn from this and move on to improve the game we all love. Where i see it its a win win situation, The NRL can improve and look after player welfare and all and the ALL BLACKS will finally get a quality star centre to replace Tana Umaga and finally win its second world cup, cause at the moment conrad smith aint doin an awsome job. |

| both hands up vetepuke. but it's disappointing that he's screwed his reputation on the advice of an egomaniac. Surely his own family have some some input. |

He's testing the water and the outcome of it will be interesting to see.
There is too much immaturity there for him to deal with the press and come out looking credible.
Unfortunately he has grown an over-inflated sense of himself which is a very dangerous place to sit in. |

| The interwiew sounded like his manager gave him a list of 50 different excuses, each time a question came up he gave a different one but never went into detail. I dont know how intelligent the guy is but after he gave each answer ya just wanted to hit him across the face and tell him to shut up and let your lawyers do the talking. A freakish talent and hope his management team dont leave him high and dry |

yea, he still sounds mad, what he's doing now is Mad and its what i suspected he's got no idea of what he has just done. Just mad and wants evrything to go away.
Its crazy, i'm just disapointed that he's let a lot of people down. |

Having been firmly in SBW's corner during this saga. I watched the interview on the Footy Show last night and, like many others, could've sworn I was listening to Anthony Mundine.
The 3rd person references, the garbled reasons. I can't help thinking he's been sucked in to making a stupid mistake after being influenced by people whispering exactly what he wants to hear. Mundine's career isn't pharked now. Sonny's is. I hope he wakes up soon and realises what he needs to do to put things right.... before it's too late. |
