i agree that his defensive works is really awesome for our team. I just want him to maybe bulk up a bit more so there's more impact on attack. He's getting there from i'd seen on Saturday, but not exactly a threat to the opposition yet.
I know Kemp still got the attacking flair, but he just doesn't get enough space for it. If Tate is still here they might develop into a lethal combination, but oh well. Ah-van's try last night could've easily be Kemp's such was the overlap. We need to free him up again like that one time against the Knights. For manu we just need to put him one-on-one with the opposition, we can't do that for Kemp. This guy got pace and guile, but not strength from what i can see.
Speaking of which, how good is Hohaia at fullback? beating tacklers on kick return almost everytime. better defense plays from under the high balls this year (i remember he used to drop at least 1 per game last year).
Speaking of getting out of the own half. Parrett was pretty good at doing it against the Dragons, had couple of great runs from the dummy half. Pity his team mates didn't back him up. Good signs for the kiwi selectors. |
