| Disappointing season to say the least, Signs were good early on, Pre Season Wins, a couple of good wins early on and then Cleary decided to play with halves combinations and bench roles and it all went downhill from there really. Bring on 2010!!! |

Season from hell, glad to see john hart's throwen the towel in for his poor recruitment, now cleary has to quit alongside hart so the club can start afresh, a complete cleanout and overhaul of management is required.
....Signing off on a dissapointing year, see you again,
cheers greg(:(: |

| Eels are playing well, I'm hoping they make the 8. Them and the Tigers are on a roll lately and they could upset some of the bigger teams come semi final time. |

| I'd say their a good chance of giving us a hiding, depends if we show some heart and pride because that's all that's left to play for this year. |

true fans mate. and to watch classy opposition as well.
just a season of "Mis-fire" really, this years team never really looked a genuine threat or title contender from the outset.
still the benchmark team all warrior teams are measured by the yardstick by far is still the 2002 warriors team that reached the final, until we find the right balance within our team, we'll never be a threat to the aussie teams. |

| Good effort by the warriors against the panthers. good to see kevin locke getting a run at fullback which I think is his best position and best wishes to elijah taylor on his debut in top grade, looking forward to it. Go Warriors, still backing you 100% through good and bad. |

Well done to isacc john and well done to the warriors, great effort, even if it was against a weakened roosters
can only applaud effort
won't be taking the dragons lightly, but no need to fear them as well, If I remember correct, they only beat us by 1 point at win stadium so I think we're a fair chance, especially with locke and price back mind you |

Yeah I think seymour's a pretty smart buy for 2010.
Warriors should have picked up the Queenslander quite cheap.
At only 24 he has already played over 100 NRL games.
62 games for the Broncos & 39 games for the Sharks. |

i heard the commentator refer to Vatuvei as 'rocks or diamonds'. could be said about the whole team. it's the
C-word...Consistency, and until they get that sorted they are always going to struggle. they have the ability but we need to see it more than once a month. |

great to see McKinnon produce another one of the length of the field solo try again. It had been a while.
Great to grab the win again, but it's against the bottom team. I'll wait until we see how the boys go against the Dragons, especially when both Price and Locke are both back. Didn't manage to catch the first half so can't really comment on how well Issac John went. Vatuvei is the usual heart stopping form, both in dropping the balls and scoring the tries. Ah-Van had somehow became the no.1 backline reserve, slotting in nicely whenever there's injury. Jones seemed to have a better game, but his defence still worries me. Hohaia deserve his place wider of the ruck. Being a hooker simply does not let him have enough chance to run the ball.
That being said, great to see the boys defend 5 consecutive sets on the try line successfully, and great so see the 14 points curse lifted a bit, and it's so nice to see another McKinnon solo. |

If John had proven himself over the last 8 games I say why not give him the security of the no.6 shirt for next year? If the coach say that we are in a rebuilding phase let it be.
I, for one, would be interested to see how the young halves combination of John and Johnson would go next year. Jones should only be kept as a super sub, and that's what he was contracted to do at the beginning of this year anyway. |

As a long time Warriors supporter, I'm dumbfounded as to how the team has been managed this year. You never know what the team named every week will look like. Whos in? Whos out? Whos playing where? Whos been let go????
Its no secret that to be a title contender you need a excellent halves combination(I know thats not all you need but its the most important combo on the field). How many different combos has he tried this year.....4 or 5. Now Cleary has pharked up big time by putting all his eggs in one basket (the basket being Jones). We have no one else thanks to the management of this team, the next best option is Johnson in the 20s and no one in between. I would gladly put Johnson in ahead of Jones but after thinking about it he'l be better off playing the finals series in the 20s to prepare him for next year because unless we get an off season buy at halfback he's the next cab off the rank. God help us if they sign Stacey for another year.
Good on Isaac for getting into the team, I hope he goes good. What Id like to ask Cleary is though, is he your long term option at 6 because I though thats why you got Moon. Whoever he is planning to run at 6 next year should play every game left this season there (whether that be Moon or John) in preparation for next year.
I think the coaching staff, management have to accept a lot of the accountability of this years results.
GO THE WARRIORS!!!!!! GO KNOBZ, KEEP CARVIN EM UP KUZZY!!! |

since we can't win with only 14 points, why not go for the risky option and try something like let Matulino play at lock? He was a regular starter at the end of last year I don't know why they let Lillyman take over his place. Even Lewis brown had a better attacking game than Lillyman at the moment.
Good on Issac to have his debut. To be exact I would rather see Hohaia come on to replace Jones at some point and leave the impact of Jones at the last 15mins of the game. |

Great squad at the start of the year......to a shambles of a team by year's end....
witt, rovelli, fien...all sacrificed for stacey jones.
has to be left to the young fellas to pick up the pieces,
guys who play with heart like kevin locke and russell packer...now add to that, poor old isacc john who has to come from lower grades to spark the Nrl side, shameful.
good luck to him...shame on warriors management
aaron heremaia is better then fien is he?...I don't think so |
