| Nice team dazbolski, pretty much no difference with the current side anyway, except for no jesse royal who I think played an exceptional game in the forwards against the tigers, I thought aaron heremaia had a great defensive game but had a couple of handling lapses then the coaches lost faith in him and brought on the solid lewis brown, kevin locke is an amazing talent, even a blind man could see that, his performances for the under 20's in the last couple of years is proof of his skill, the backrow stood up big time and I thought mannering was excellent in his smothering defence, even stacey jones defence is impressive, well done warriors, nice to see the team playing with heart and desire. |

| I think having Kirk is a liability.....they need somone with a bit more size and that can tackle. |

anyway, now Kirk is in the side for ah-van who had a great match, especially carrying the ball from our own half. I just hope that the diminutive centre can keep up the standard shown by his counterpart last round.
Also, I would like to see Lewis Brown had another go, this kid hasn't failed me yet and I would see him develop to be the third generation prop after Pricey and Rapira. I still see Royal as a one season temporary replacement at the moment, though he has been pretty decent in all the games.
Still think we need an explosive attacking back rower like Lauaki if we want to win this year's premiership. Matulino is slowly developing into that role after the tragedy this year. |

is it possible (if he gets another chance) for Kemp to remain in the left wing just to test the combination as well? One of the main point in my last post is that we don't seem to be scoring a lot of tries down the right hand side once Tate was out. Might partially due to Kemp, but might also be the reluctant to go down that side since there's more confident in Vatuvei to score. Consequently more attacks are directed down the left hand side. That's just my gut feelings, i still need to see the stats.
However, Locke had a great debut, and he deserves another shot at the jersey. Kemp just has to play a series of blinder performances in the vulcans to fight his way back. |

The positional swap was always going to be made, I mentioned earlier in the week they had to swap Vatuvei to mark Tuiaki - it was a no brainer really.
I think if they keep Locke on then they should keep him partnered up with the more experienced Ropati and stick with Ah Van and Vatuvei on the other side. Its a good idea. |

guess the forward pack works better this time round. Hope they can keep up the performance for the rest of the season. Stacey works better with better front balls. Moon still need to work on his positional play a bit more. McKinnon is slowing back to his best, just need more quality off loads to run on to.
Still not sure about the back rows, but they can still prove me wrong.
Speaking of which, what do you guys think of the positional switch for the beast? good idea or just temporary solution? He didn't seem to have much scoring chances on the right flank, which probably is also why Kemp didn't play too well in his opportunities. I still remember that sizzling break from Kemp when playing against the Newcastles down the left touch line. |

| Stacy Jones, another standout performance on defence, would have have enjoyed some front foot ball for once, wade mckinnon almost at 100 percent, young locke sensational debut.... poor kemp better book your ticket and go back home mate, the warriors playing with heart... that was priceless. |

Proud as DI, Knobs had a mean game
couldnt of had a better debut, voice is still crokey from yelling at him from the sideline...they would have to keep him on after that game and Kemp can stay at the Vulcans cos he hasnt done jack all year anyway.
Knobs has been waiting for this chance and I can guarantee you he will play his heart out every game, whereas when Kemp plays, looks like he dosent wanna be there . Who would you rather have??? |

nice roll from the forwards, leaving more space for the backs to operate.
good debut from Locke, but his kicking is not as accurate as i would've liked. I'll still give him more chances though, he looks to be the future fullback for the kiwis. |

a win is a win. good job boys.
Locke had a great game, and i like the combination between Vatuvei and Ah-van, especially when bringing the ball out from the own half. McKinnon had another strong game. Moon still need to work on his kicking a bit more, Hohaia is lethal as always when he's on the field. Big Benny put out another few great shots on the opposition players.
Being the first try scorer certainly helps, and don't we just love wet weather football?
though having said that, we haven't yet win against any of the top 8 teams. Cronulla next and they could pose a bigger problem than the Farah-less Tigers. |

Good win for the Warriors 14 - 0 over Tigers
New boy Kevin Locke touching down twice, good under the high ball also, good all round game. Michael Luck 50+ tackles.
Manu Vatuvei, Wade Mckennon and Simon Manering all played well. Warriors defence solid |

It will depend on what Tigers team turns up to play. The Warriors in the past 2 weeks have played teams at there best and have surely struggled.
I have picked the Tigers but sure hope that the Warriors can prove me wrong. |
