And you like making personal attacks on people to do you. I dont give two shytes what you think about me d1ckhead.
You and stormy can curl up in front of the fire and what storm vs raiders re-runs.

For the record people bosons is saying the raiders played awsome and they the shyt. More like the warriors played shyt and anyone would have beatin them.

No but you have just been added to the list of idiots. Your just under stormy now. Raiders did play well, but that was majorly helped by a well below par warriors preformance.

"i have only ever responded to you.. sooooo deflate your own @ss dont go running away now. you give shyte so take some big guy.."

Wtf are you on??, your an idiot whos taken exception to a comment i have made not even about the raiders.

Re:New Zealand Warriors 2009 Reply to this message
Ruben Wiki played poorly for a part of last year and was dropped. He came back and played awesome at the back end of the season - Price & Jones can still emulate this. I agree with the concerns about current form. The stable of under 20's and good Vulcans players sould be looked at seriously now.

Is Cleary motivating them, putting the right game plan in place, got them fit enough, hungary enough?

Bos i didnt say th warriors always win against big teams i said compete against big sides. Stop going on dude. The raiders win one game against a majorly under prefoming warriors team and you all offended about my comments the raiders got thrashed four times in the 4 of their last games. Deflate your head man cause you dont know what raiders side will turn up next week.

The Warriors lost Michael Witt, Nathan Fien, Grant Rovelli for an old man that is named Stacey Jones!

Get rid off Stacey Jones and Steve Price! Both are now past there best. Both great players during there careers.

matalino had a few great runs, and had a couple of great tackles. Lewis Brown can go in the same category as well, often get over to the other side of the defenders. cleary should let the ball to those guys in attack more often

Re:New Zealand Warriors 2009 Reply to this message
Warriors as a team are playing very poorly. There are some players I reckon are still standing up - how about some positives guys? - here is my list of players playing well..

1. Lance H
2. Matalino
3. Manu V
4. Lewis Brown ( the game he played in he was great)
5. Ah Van - just makes list , he has played better than most others in the outside backs

A short list - hopefully some others can be added very shortly!!!

Re:New Zealand Warriors 2009 Reply to this message
ok, maybe i was being too harsh on stacey since he is taking up the responsibility for all the play making. But even with the limited opportunities we have he didn't make the most of them, which is the problem.
still think that he is most effective in the final quarter of the match when his "pinpoint" kicking game can turn the oppositions around. also it reserves his limited use of running game at the most crucial times. Reckon that cleary panicked after the bronco's game that he threw stacey in the no.7 jumper. I say let one of the new guys have a go, seriously, and leave stacey on the bench if necessarily.

Re:New Zealand Warriors 2009 Reply to this message
Hes not the game breaking player he used to be, however there are still shades of old school stace there. But i dont think the problem falls on stacey alone, there are a number of issues. If the club is not carefull the warriors season will self implode. Nz does not have enough teams in the NRL to be compeditive. 1/16 out teams is never good odds.

I think warriors fans have the most heart out of all league fans, for what we have to go through and still turn up to support is outstanding, we just dont have the numbers in the aussie competition and i dont think that will change in a hurry.

Re:New Zealand Warriors 2009 Reply to this message
You cant lay all the blame at Staceys feet....look at the stats and you will see that only 1 Warriors forward made over 100m Price (108m) and all the others were ineffective.....add to this our mental ability to hold on to the ball and cut out basic errors means that we are back pedalling all day....sure Stace may not have taken the right option at times but the forwards are not giving him or Moon the space they need to put the plays on....

Re:New Zealand Warriors 2009 Reply to this message
Big problems in the Warriors camp, their inability to score points
and not muscling up on defence

next game - Warriors v Tigers

last 4 games

Raiders 38 v 12 Warriors
Warriors 12 v 38 Cowboys

Dragons 12 v 11 Warriors
Storm 14 v 14 Warriors

They played well against Storm & the Dragons

Re:New Zealand Warriors 2009 Reply to this message
Stacey used to be a legend, But the games has come in leaps and bounds since he was in form, the games are quicker the halfs smarter, faster even more creative than jones was. The warriors have become a one man team again, it wouldnt have been so bad if jones was used as a utility player like they did at the start of the season that was working ok. Demote jones to bench bring fein back to 7 to direct the team hes better at it than jones and play hohia at 6 so he can playmake and have space to run. Henderson had an average game but im willing to forgive him czuse usually he carves up.

Unfortunetly the warriors are playing as bad as the sharks at the moment and thats really saying something.
As i said when it happened, why would you get rid of the best kicker we have ever had in witt and replace him with jones a close to a (has been) player.

They should have resigned george gatis, and gave rovelli another year. They need the same team who reached the finals last year. Logan swan did a real good job in the back row last year, we lacking the a bit i think, mannering having a form slump.

Yesterdays game, the warriors played like a province team second rate. The attack looked scripted slow and the never looked dangerous. Raiders looked like they were on steroids.
Why is it the the warriors have never had a dangerous structured attack ever the dont worrie any side. We droping the ball to much and quite fankley the warriors fitness it real low at the moment, witch showed yesterday when the couldnt foot it for 20 mins with the raiders. Bounce of the ball was terrible (again). If the lose next week at home against the tiger that will be me for the season, im not backing a team that doesnt have the club culture or heart to win comps. Ill stick to union thanks

The forwards are pathetic, Lillyman, Mannering, Rapira, Henderson are nonexistant. I expected the attacking game to ge below par this year but thought our defence would keep the Warriors in games. The only word that comes to mind is SOFT

Re:New Zealand Warriors 2009 Reply to this message
this is typical of kiwis, when stacey jones first came back everyone one was excited and thought it was an amazingly good decision by Cleary for the warriors. But now the reality of the decision i hitting home and as a result cleary has destroyed the continuity of the team that has been built up over the last 3 - 4 years. Now Fien is going ( who played a major part of the building process ) Micheal Witt was sent packing ( say good bye to a kicker with a 92 per cent kicking record ). The running games of both Hohia and Mckinnon have been deleted due to the style of play Stacey Jones has brought to the team. It still alludes me how the coachs ( and Kiwis in general) cant visualise all the potential pitfalls of bringing a player of Staceys style back into the Warriors when the solid foundation of the team has been robustly established.

Re:New Zealand Warriors 2009 Reply to this message
Have to agree with people saying drop Jones. He WAS an awesome player but he is now not the player that is going to win us a premiership. If it were me, I would play Hohaia at 7, not only a threat on attack, Lance defends well as well something that Stacey dosent, teams will run at him all day if he is out there.
