Yea Alex had a big game, his defense was huge in that game, didnt see the tackle count but I bet it was up the top somewhere. Not just that, he was putting some sting in those tackles. Definately a future Kiwi...I've got no doubt but dont think it will be this year unless injuries force Kearney to pick a bolter.

Not sure about Winterstein....havent come across him but he looks good too.. he had a strong game against the storm.

Well, first loss of the season and the better team on the night won. The boys looked flat, dunno why though, the Broncs at home in front of a packed house....the occasions dont get much better. Still its a long season and the boys will bounce back this week against the bunnies. Big ups to my boy Alex Glen yeeyaa beachhaven in da house whaaaat!!!! lol

On a bad note the injury list is growing...hard
Tate gone for the season...that sux and word from the inside is that Manu is not looking good either, waiting on results but he could be gone for the season...that will be massive, hopefully results of scans go his way.
Add Ben, Lance, Evarn to the recovering list as well, our depth will be tested

Re:New Zealand Warriors 2009 Reply to this message
I hope the warriors secure his signature and quick, he's a hardened player, he's a seasoned campaigner, a title with the roosters in 2002 and a title with the storm in 2007, that's priceless experience, Of course the warriors should sign him, that's a no brainer.

Thanks very much for that reply warrust, I've been waiting to see if anyone agrees about whether or not to sign cro*ker for the warriors, unfortunate to miss out on eastwood, I believe cro*ker would add grunt and aggression, we needed that last night, someone like kevin campion to put some big hits on

Re:New Zealand Warriors 2009 Reply to this message
it would be a real bonus if we can have cro*ker in our team, a big tackler (remember that shot he got on Stewart in 07?), good ball player and is very determined.
though I rather prefer Eastwood, it's out of the question now. Time to slay some bunnies for stew.

Re:New Zealand Warriors 2009 Reply to this message
yeah man Eastwood is all class, would have been a good signing. Warriors had a real look of depth but look how quickly it can change. still 2 from 3 aint bad but 2 from 4 is. So we got to lay the smackdown on the bunnies.

23 rounds left to push for the finals

Re:New Zealand Warriors 2009 Reply to this message
Pretty stink aye insider.kiwi

Tate out for the year, Tuimavave has also been ruled out for the year, epalahame lauaki is still waiting on a uk visa so they missed out on eastwoods signature bescause of their slowness in negotiating a contract and witt signed for otago, apparently their in talks with michael cro*ker, they'll need him, they might have to shift mannering into the centres and buy cro*ker, what does anyone else think?

Re:New Zealand Warriors 2009 Reply to this message
Injury concerns for the Warriors, they really missed Brent Tate who will be out for the remainder of the season.

Manu Vatuvie, Lance Hohaia, and others also injured.

Rabbitohs wont be easy beats

Re:New Zealand Warriors 2009 Reply to this message
What a pathetic preformance from the warriors. They looked oldschool, Sloppy and ill disaplined all round back to the useless non believing team we used to have. sad sad game im not proud at all.

OH yeah a the bronco's played bad too, they had to rely on the useless ref or they would not have won.

They really missed manu's big presence too i think.
