The warriors have completely devestated their halfs combination from last year . It worked with Fien, witt, hendo, gatis even rovelli, but lance really looks at home not at 6,7 or 9 but at fullback. Now we have jones, moon and running hohia all over the show. Honestly could we not have hohia coming off the bench for henderson to keep that intensity around the ruck for the full 80. Fien at 7 and jones off the bench were he wont have an early heart attack and where he plays his best "impact" footy. And to be honest its time to give a rookie a go at 6 because moon just isnt doing the job. Denan kemp was underpreforming just like moon, locke was brought in and now its time to bring in someone for moon..Any ideas..?. Drop herimia hes useless he has no potential at all...PERIOD!!. Ropati needs to go work on his ball skills before he will be putting anything decent back to the team. Bloody hell cleary needs to start taking some responsibility for the fact the warriors attack looks limp and that they know how to defend one week and have a monumental collapse another.
I mean he is the coach of the team is he not...?

There been calls for massive changes to the warriors this week for fridays game against the nights pressure is on.
Will they choke again..?

Butter fingers!! i know how you feel miri alot of supporting for little reward. No excuses, they non contenders this year and not the team they thought they were and their ladder position reflects that.

All real supporters(fans) of their sides are a different breed of fan. We look forward to the weekend warriors game as an important appointment in our week, so when the warriors put on a bad preformance it takes emotional energy from you because its a big part of your life.

However at the end of the day it is just a game and there is more to life than worrying about the warriors.

Maybe if the Warriors can hold the ball they will win!! Been a supporter for years but can't get enthusiastic anymore. Good players individually but as a team they can't seem to get it together.

Re:New Zealand Warriors 2009 Reply to this message
Its watching the game in slow motion with the warriors, no line running, no offloads nothing. Moon must go, why drop witt and buy moon stuipedist thing the warriors ever done.

They have big problems when they get beaten by a team that gets thrashed 98% of the time, its pittaful.

With the team they have i dont know if we are going to see a run to the finals this year, they just dont look like the goods this year.

Cronulla is a useless team this year and they won because of a real bad warriors prefomance, any other team would have beat them.

pitiful display of rugby league by the warriors, shameful, disgraceful, I've had a gutsful of their in eptitude, shameless ball control, the fundamental baiscs of league, ball skills, ball control, ropati, go buy some superglue, mannering, go buy a brain, warriors, go buy some desire and heart because the sharks made you look embarrasing, pitiful shameful performance.

Re:New Zealand Warriors 2009 Reply to this message
what is up with all the dropped balls today!! very frustrating to watch. We still look in slow motion in attack with no idea of what to do apart from kick on the 5th tackle, and we desperately need a half decent centre with kirk he doesnt really cut the mustard. I hope henderson is back next week and locke is looking good on the wing which is a bonus

Re:New Zealand Warriors 2009 Reply to this message
Hopefully complacency doesn't rear it's ugly head for the warriors, this is a vital game in terms of staying on a winning roll and maintaining consistency, their were still far too many unnecessary mistakes which resulted in mammoth amounts of tackling last week, this has to be rectified, you will not be able to defend all game long against a side like melbourne or the cowboys who are relentless attackers, the sharks are in a massive lull as we all know, they also snapped their losing sequence last week as well so will be looking to keep that winning momentum, paul gallen will be returning for them and he adds the aggressive defence and attitude, ntm his foul racial mouth, hopefully the warriors can shut his pie hole.

I agree with you dazbolski, I think it is a shame denan kemp is in the vulcans, not discrediting kevin locke in anyway, his performance against the tigers is stuff of legend, you couldnt ask for a better start to your Nrl career, but I feel denan kemp has been hard done by, he offers alot in terms of speed and guile, I prefer kemp ahead of aiden kirke.

Re:New Zealand Warriors 2009 Reply to this message
I know Ive been laughed at before for this but got hold of some footage of the Vulcans game against Wentworthville and Vince Mellars looked very strong in the centres....its his natural position he can tackle and ran some great lines....bring him in for Kirk and leave the rest....take Brown as travelling 18th man

Re:New Zealand Warriors 2009 Reply to this message
I just thought its a shame having kemp in the vulcans. Kemp would add alot of speed in the centers. Ah van has bulked up a bit and he is using that to his advantage in defence. Ah van lost the ball once on sunday but it would be a shame to drop him as his game has improved alot in attack and defence, could have him on the bench instead of brown. But brown has been real impressive making the most of every run so its a bit of a dilemma.

The forwards really stepped up on Sunday if they take that D in the sharks game they could score a few too.
