now onto the squad for Origin 3
Kurt Gidley (capt), Jarryd Hayne, Michael Jennings, Jamie Lyon, David Williams, Trent Barrett, Brett Kimmorley, Justin Poore, Michael Ennis, Josh Perry, Ben Creagh, Trent Waterhouse, Anthony Watmough. Interchange: Brett White, Craig Wing, Glenn Stewart, Tom Learoyd-Lahrs.
like the inclusion of waterhouse, watmough and LL. Great to see Odonnell and Dumbface dropped. Hopefully David Williams can learn from his mistakes in the last origin. The return of Jennings and Wing will certainly help with the attack. Not sure about the 7-9 changeover, but guess that's the best option so far since both players are in form in the top team. The old head in the halves, though not good for the future, will provide stability and let the players outside (ie. Jennings and williams)gain valuable experience in the origin level.
I would like to see Hayne come off his wing more often to get involve in attack like a fullback and let Gidley take his place on the wing. The more he sees the ball the better he gets.
Hopefully it won't be QLD vs Hayne again, other boys will have to step up. |

| Monaghan will have a tough job trying to contain inglis, the out and out swerve and burn him off that inglis put on gidley to score in the first origin was unbelievable rugby league. |

I appreciate your input, but could you please leave the trash talking to the other thread?
Campese, although playing in no.6, is clearly the primary playmaker in the raiders lineup. Sometimes too many chiefs could cause a major mix up. NSW not helped by the fact that their forward got beaten by the opposition, not giving campese enough space to operate.
I want NSW to win, but that might come in cost for campo's place in the third game. unless some odd injury brings Wing into the halves role early. |

tooo coool. now that the Nut Sucking W@nkers selectors have taken mr CAMPESE out of the team, i can feel free to hate there blue balls. hahaha
funny aye, they are prepared to let mr overrated barrett to take control of the game, yet that was the reason that campo struggled. CAMPO runs the game. DUH!!!! and he had to play second to wallace.
nsw once again lose 1 game hit the panic button and make the same mistakes as the last 4 years. stick with your team, and stop trying to beat the mighty maroons by SWINE FLU.
QUEENSLAND 34 . Nut Sucking W@nkers 16. |

one thing the commentators also bring up is that barrett like to play first receiver sometimes. I assume that he will try to attack the line more to give wallace more space to operate.
If Lyon didn't play any of the games, then I don't think he's suitable for this one. I would prefer Monaghan there. Also if either Farah or Wing is out I wouldn't be surprised if they brought in Ennis given the form of the dogs this year. Surprisingly no one had bring his name up given the dilemma before Origin 1 selection.
Nice to see the name of Learoyd-Lahrs mentioned. He had been very destructive in the raiders lineup. |

THE OFFICIAL TEAM
Kurt Gidley (capt), Jarryd Hayne, Michael Jennings, Jamie Lyon, David Williams, Trent Barrett, Peter Wallace, Brent Kite, Robbie Farah, Michael Weyman, Ben Creagh, Luke O'Donnell, Paul Gallen. Interchange: Craig Wing, Justin Poore, Glenn Stewart, Anthony Watmough.
I think the inclusions of Barrett and more so Watmough are good. |

the NSW team announced tonight, with possible omission of Lyon, Jennings, mcM, Bailey, Wing, and Lewis due to injury.
My team will be:
Gidley (i'll give him another chance), Hayne, Cooper, Monaghan, Williams, Campo, Barrett (wallace's form hasn't been too sharp, and myself still a fan of campo), Weyman, Farah, Poore, Creagh, O'Donnell, Stewart
Hornby, Kite, Watmough, O'Meley.
But i suspect there will be a lot of changes from mine when the team is announced. |

No Watmough, thats bulsh!t, he should definitely be in there. He is a tough b@st@rd and will add some mongrel to the pack. Good to see Wallace and Campese as the halves.
No Cooper aye, thought he might make it just on experience, his form hasnt been all that anyway, Farah ahead of Ennis, but other that Watmough, and injuries, thats the best team they could of picked. The New Breed!!! |

the backline pretty much picked themselves, though i am a little surprised to see mcma nus over monaghan. Still don't like the inclusion of dumb face over watmough though. |
