| Well i too went out andgot freeview just for the V8s,now i have to wait till september when TV3 gets its act together and gets it freeview channel up and running.As for the commentors well i guess since Clint Brown left they had to scrap the barrell and got Rodger,Simon,Aaron & Tracy.Aaron & Tracy are about the only two that know anything about motorsport.Simon thinks he knows as he drives a falcon,and Rodger, well hes been to buthurst a couple of times,so i surpose he knows what hes talking about.Well i guess we will have to put up with ads & late nights for a few more months to come.Oneday TV3 will listern and stop thinking about the dollar!lets see now bad they stuff up Hamilton next month! |

| i agree , saturday's practice was adds every 2 minutes . i was dissapointed before TV3 won the rights i spend $500 setting shed up with freeveiw decoder as TVNZ's sport channel showed it live , but hey at least now i can watch the adds with perfect quality . But hey A1 gp gets great coverage . . . Come on TV3 sort it out |

I was thrilled to first hear that tvnz lost the contract for the ozzie V8's. No more late nights on Sundays, and hoping for more live races, less ad breaks and better coverage. Now after watching round 1 clipsal 500, i think they are not doing any better than tvnz. Got to bed at 1am, more ad breaks than racing, and the hosts of the show didnt know much about the sport. Aaron Slight was the only motorsport minded person there, what does a retired cricketer and Radio show host know about motorsport????? Am i the only one thinking like this or are others out there.
