| Hes not far from clicking, obviously you have never played golf and know its a fine line, the thing I dont like about his golf at the moment is if he makes a mistake he slumps his head and then makes another error all he needs is a good start to a tourny and he will be fine. I think he will win in 1 of his next 6 starts.. |

| agree..champ, golf is a "full focus" game, and Cambo does need to re-wire his thinking, and tape his "mouth" he could be winning more tournies than he has, one has to be in the "ZONE" when playing, I know that too well, my best games are when I'm in the Zone, and oblivious to anything else. |

Problem is if you want to be the best you need to be strong mentally. Do you think Tiger and all the other Pros soley depend on the enjoyment of the game? I would agree that enjotment does play a part, but you need a very strong mental game to create consistancy.
Prehaps the guy should quit and start playing his own green before someone else does. LOL |

| One of the things he should do is check out the designs on the shirts he wears; maybe the 'gods' don't like what he does. Maybe a plain shirt for a change. I'd also suggest that he get of the mind stuff and just go out there and enjoy a game. |

I agree Deydey, maybe he needs to pull back a bit from the season and play only a handfull of games rather than trying to compete in as many as is possible.
I did feel sorry for him the year after he won the US open the pressure from here and abroad was emmense, and it got to him. He has a still got a few years ahead of him, Singh is 44 and coming back from a rut. Mikey boy might need to relocate to the states or somewhere to cut down on his travel time...Anyways good TBay boy, all the best for the new year Michael Campbell :) |

I dont think it helps that he missed the cut for the NZ Open and a 72yr old Bob Charles made it hahaha, not good from a player who has won a major. I guess it couldve been the best and worst thing that has ever happened to him. He won a major (that is huge) and the spin offs are good, on the other hand people are expecting you to win more tourneys and your bad performances are enhanced, now it seems like he has got way too many eggs in his baskets and just needs to get back to playing golf and thats it.
All the best I hope he can turn it around.

| The media need to lay of Michael Campbell, golf is a very mental game when your in a rut its extremely hard to get out. I'm sure he doesn't read every headline, but if he did he would be pretty disapointed eg: Playing like a weekend hacker. As a player I have nothing but praise for pro golfers they have a tuff job. Support cambo not bag him. |
