| Good going Blues. It's always hard to beat the Blues men at Eden park and it was a well fought win. Pity that it doesn't help Aotearoa's cause as i think the Canes has what it takes to clean out the sharks, stormers and waras. Now our hope lies with the Saders even if we're not sader fans. |

Yeah, I sent them a message complaining that the obscenity filter is over-sensitive, and that was the exact word I mentioned. Obviously nothing has been done yet, but perhaps they will do something about it in the future.
Good game by the Blues, especially the defence. They've usully crumbled when the pressure went on, but not this time. Great job! |

All we need is 4 the Chiefs to beat the Sharks with a Bonus point, and for the Waratahs and Stormers to lose!!!
Not a great result for the Hurricanes, but they still finish ahead on points of the Blues and have a better for and against of the other teams in contention, so if neither the Sharks or Stormers get bonus points then the Canes might still sneak in at the Blues, Sharks and / or Stormers expense. |

Although I support the Blues, I think the Hurricanes have the edge in both the forwards and backs.Based on the AB contingent throughout there side.
There may be a slight weakness defensively through Ripia for the Blues to exploit just as Auckland did against Brett in the Ranfurly Shield win last year, I believe if The Blues can concentrate there attack through that chanel then that will pull Nonu and co across and hopefully The Blues will play whats in front of them and free up there wings.
As good as Tuitivake is he has the tendancy to cut inside after his initial break and doesnt always link back to his wingers as a good test centre should.If he does break, then Stanley has to be alert and run the inside chanels where Tuitivake normally steps back to.
If Auckland can get parity in the forwards then The Blues will have a chance. Really looking forward to the midfield clash with two All Blacks vs two up and comers.
Stanley has looked flat in attack for mind and needs to concentrate on hitting the line hard to test Ripia and Nonus defence.
My heart says The Blues but my head says the Hurricanes. |
