I think Carter may be a better player, as an individual. He scores points, is fast, accurate, and creates chances.
If the defence in front of him is working, he has time to make those chances count.
Ritchie is also fast, accurate, and creates chances, but in an area which is more highly contested, so while his efforts are amazing, he's not a gamebreaker by himself.
Ah, but in the leadership he brings, the drive and passion that inspires everyone around him, he lifts the pack and also helps create a lot more turnover. With the pack providing better ball, more turnovers coming, and with the opponents focused on defence rather than attack, the whole team plays at a higher level.
I'd keep Ritchie, because Ritchie in good form inspires the whole team, and that's something Dan can't do. |

Well I'm not privy to your financial or insurance situation but I guess if your insurance covers a blown up computer or you have the money then Yes you might buy a new one.
These days most computers are more expensive to fix than to replace so you probably wouldn't want to repair a blown up one. (Actually I didn't think those questions needed an answer)
Now remember to make sure the detonator is connected securely to the explosives and do stand well clear won't you.... |

To most of the above answers, maybe the abs need both. but which has the most influence on how the team perform.
Any unbiased person would have to pick McCaw. Based on the two tests this year when McCaw was out injured, Carter needs McCaw more than Mccaw needs Carter |

weve got enough talent if they both go? ya sure? maybe the under 20's champs,but i dont see anyone that can step in,take their place and dominate like they do,
i dont know why know ones replied to that comment,either their having dinner,getting drunk,doing homework or pulling off burnouts like dhume,but come on mate,we'd be way worse off if either 1 of them left,with these two,we are on the cusp of greatness,we are witnessing the dan/richie era right now!!theres no one in this country thats anywhere near the 'class' of these two guys,there actually is no one to replace them,donald,gopperth,thom son,braid?? i dont think so!! even if one of them were to go,it'll be disastrous,look how dan performed in a losing team in sydney,he was still the standout player,and how he boosted the saders when he returned from injury,look at richies impact when he came back at aucks!! proof enough of their absolute 'class' |

Considering both players have recently (within last year) signed with NZRFU until 2011 this question is a bit redundant. Unless of course one of them does an SBW.
The real question should be why does M-family have a fixation with Dan Carter? The majority of his threads have Dans name in the title. |
