Re:ABs VS Munster Reply to this message
sprous
questions should be asked why your
team still couldnt
beat us in hong kong too?!haha

na munster had heaps riding on it
they can say it was a 2nd rate munster team, but i dont
think so,it was a decent team
they had heaps to play for,30th year since that famous day they beat the ab's,the emotions of that guy
being gunned down, the new stadium, reigning euro champs
ab's lucky to get home, but as all good teams do,they find ways to win when its needed, aus famous for that against us,kefu, eales etc..nothing new, just up against a passionate determined outfit
they challenged the haka too remember?not many ex nzr's have ever done that before, they challenged the ab's
and backed it up with their gritty play
mean game,ab's win,all good...whos next?,bring it on.
na your right, questions should be asked.

Re:ABs VS Munster Reply to this message
Sugar coat it as much as u like but the mighty ABs almost got beaten by a provisional Irish side. For Fs sake they have made a play about the last time they beat u 12-nil.It's folk lore
I actually went to a play at the opera house a few years ago about the game in the eighties when they beat u.
To be happy with that performance is unusual for ABs standard.
Even if they are the 2nd team, jeez the black's have lowered their standard.
Watch out for Wales...LOL

Re:ABs VS Munster Reply to this message
Rotation, tons of newbies, loss of best players o'seas. We saw those embarrassing possession and territory stats against Scotland, last week. A good ABs team would have reversed those. Sheesh, only Southern Hemisphere League-based defense kept them out. Better against Ireland. But what was that, today? Sure, a 'second string' All Blacks team. Sure, Munster were fired-up. But the ABs play was, frankly, poor.

alot of inexperience show in that game, alot of first timers who got a shock from Munster and it wasnt for the seasoned veterans of Mils and Thorn we would of lost that game.Good showing from this young side they showed alot of ticker in the end. This game was more exciting and more intense than those last two Tests.
Well done both sides.BUT ABS!!!DNT GIVE ME A NEAR HEART ATTACK LIKE THAT AGAIN!!!!!

If Ireland lose to a SUPER 14 side it would be no biggie. It would be what we expect. We have huge expectations!

Re:ABs VS Munster Reply to this message
Pretty loose messy game to watch, but the occasion and the atmosphere made it more interesting than some of the test matches this year..
Was a pretty good effort by the ABs 2nd XV, having never played together and to beat a team that has been together all season they deserve a bit of credit. People didn't realize how difficult this game was gonna be for them, but they pulled through against the top (although slightly weakened) team in Europe.

Re:ABs VS Munster Reply to this message
Hi Chamhagr. I am a Munster man living in NZ. What a great game and well done! In T *** nd Park the silence is out of respect but does spook the best of them!! And it is for all teams without exception. I think the kickers suddenly become aware that there are 26,000 people watching them. I have been there many times and that silence is eery.

Best of luck (not that ye will need it) for the rest of the tour!

ajmm91. Your crowds in Ireland put the rest of the world to shame. They show fantastic support to their team but equally respect their opponents.

The silence has sure spooked our kickers. They'll be glad to get to Cardiff and London where the noise will be back.

Re:ABs VS Munster Reply to this message
Corey Jane, Joe Rockomilo, Isaiah Toeava, Liam Messam, Corey Flynn and Ross Filipo had good games, the rest not so good. I know Piri was not getting clean ball, but he was definitely not as impressive as he has been coming off the bench, I don't think there is any question Cowan is still the man to start.

Joes smokes anyone that close to the line, no shame for Howlett, all the Kiwi boys in the Munster team played well.....and HOW ABOUT THAT HAKA????? Just awsum!!!

Re:ABs VS Munster Reply to this message
Dougie got smashed a couple of times....ahahahaha.....
Pretty inept performance by the ABs, they seemed to panic a lot under pressure.

Donald was *** as was Gear and Mackintosh. Thomson and Waldrom were no better either. Tight five failed to gain any dominance at the breakdown and Weepu suffered as a result. Backline moves predictable and were sitting ducks. Its a real shame Tipoki went off because he was instrumental for the Munster team.
